I really enjoy going to happy hour here. Honestly weve never eaten a full dinner at Agave. Our first time going there was a Happy Hour snack and drink prior to a movie and now its become a date night for me and my wife when the kids are having a sleepover. I enjoy the Happy Hour Agave Margarita a little too much, its not a bad deal for the price and does the job. Weve tried a few of the Happy Hour dishes too; the Chicken Taquitos are my favorite, theyre tasty maybe a little on the small side but still worth the money. Ive got them every time weve been there, I cant go there without getting them I like them that much. Ive also tried the Agave Chicken Quesadilla and it was just as good as any Chicken Quesadilla Ive had, good but it seemed a little expensive. Weve tried the Tostada Suprema; its also very tasty and imo worth the money, my wife didnt seem to care for it she said there was too much beans on it; I didnt think so. We got something else one of the times but Im having a hard time remembering which one it was, I blame the margaritas. Either way, its a nice quick happy hour stop.

We went on a busy Friday night before the Thunderbirds hockey game. We were told it was a half hour wait for 2. A booth at the bar opened sooner and they offered it to us. At first, the service seemed swift, but as the meal progressed, our waters were never refilled once (my fiances was empty for over 25 minutes). The waitress stopped by twice and the manager even bused our table and no one noticed we were out of water. Even more, the food seemed over priced for the quality and it took nearly 25 minutes to have our check cashed out. The manager and waitress werent communicating and we suffered the horrible service. We will not return and do not recommend this restaurant to others. Its a shame though because it has such a cool aesthetic.

Being from San Diego, it can be a struggle to find decent Mexican food at times. This place is not quite as authentic as what I was looking for However, this location presents their dishes as a Mexican-American infusion... with fresh ingredients you can taste (and organic when possible, their menu says). I had the stuffed jalapeno poppers with goat cheese that were wrapped in bacon. These were amazing and highly recommended. Prices are a little steep at times for a casual lunch, so I would recommend going for brunch as the prices are a bit more reasonable on food and drinks. Speaking of brunch, definitely try the pork carnitas Eggs Benedict. Its definitely a winner!

Ive eaten here many times. I take corporate clients in just about weekly. I have done hundreds of dollars of business here each month since they opened. I asked for a different cheese sauce on my chimi, and they charged me $3. I asked to have it removed, and the manager refused. The food is usually consistently good. The service is acceptable - very good if you get Kelly. But, the management seems to believe that $3 is an acceptable trade for the business of myself and my clients. There are other choices in the same area. Tragic.

I ate here on a thursday night and ordered the carne asada. The meal looked and tasted like it had been made days ago. The beans and the tomatoes werent even close to tasting fresh and the guacamole was all brown, on top of that the beef was lack luster. At least the rice tasted like it was just made. If I am going to spend close to $20 on a meal, I think its fair that it tastes fresh. And to top it all off my friend got food poisoning the morning after. Unhappy customer The wait staff was great though.

OMG Best Sweet Potato Fries EVER, sounds crazy being a Mexican restaurant but WOW!!! My son and I ate there for lunch yesterday and typically when we order them, I yet to find a place that cooks them JUST RIGHT, fully cooked, soft inside, slightly crisp outside and perfect flavor. We are coming back, heck I will probably call in 2 orders for pick up, they were that good. Service, atmosphere and our soft taco combos were amazing too. U going to want to try this place!

Dinner before Disney on Ice at Showare was a success. 40 mins from entering, to leaving with 3 satisfied customers on a time crunch. The portions were perfect, with zero leftovers as youd expect at other Mexican establishments. The fish and veggies all tasted fresh and lightly seasoned. The server was polite, and receptive to our need for haste. He even remembered to recommend one last drink to help carry us through the 1,000,000 rendition of Let it go

My first time to Agave. Ordered the chimichuri fish. The food came and I was excited but quickly turned to a tasteless experience. Fish had no salt nor any flavor/seasonings. The slaw was undressed. It was just shredded cabbages even though it supposed to be a jicama slaw. All the waiter did was "oh let me get you some dressings". Really?! If I want dressing on the side, I would have ask for it.

Service was horrible. Walk in to the place and the host is at a table texting away until she sees me and my girlfriend and says Oh how can I help. Than we go to the table album the bar and the bartender drops off menus and goes back to the bar and has her eyes glued to her phone. Your service was horrible I got up and left and went to the ram where I feel like my money is wanted

Not the most traditional Mexican restaurant, but unique enough to stand out. The bar is modest, of course focusing on Margaritas. The food is somewhat unique taking some liberties with traditional dishes. For example, instead of shrimp fajitas there are prawns, scallops and white fish fajitas. Chips and salsa are home made and very good. Overall a great addition to Kent Station.

This place is awesome! My first time here and l cant believe how much I loved it! I have been wanting a Chile relleno for a really long time, and after checking several places online, l chose Agave. I live in Kent, so it took no time to get there. The food was delicious! And their sweet potato fries were the best l ve had! Run, dont walk to this place!!!

Unfortunately, the service was slow to non-existent, the food was mediocre, and the bar area where we sat was unkempt. If by describing themselves as making "contemporary" Mexican style cuisine they mean gringo style food, then theyve nailed the description. Lets just say I dont fancy ethnic food when no one from said culture eats there.

It was Tuesday evening and our first time in Agave Cocina. Service was good, I felt food came little late (they werent busy). Food was good, the only thing, I was disappointed with uncooked meat, so I asked to get well done, as a drink, we got orchata (horchata, sorry I dont know correct spelling) it was good but little water down.

The food is good, the service is not that good .. you have to ask for everything, silverware napkins, water .. etc... there is a bunch of girls "helping" the waiter, but at the end the waiter has to bring all the stuff you need ... customer service needs improvement asap ... overall Ok
