OUR FIRST TIME TURNED VERY UGLY AT THE END. 3/30/17 .Our Receipt said that out Waiter was CARLOS TABLE 25/1 My husband, daughter, and I went to the Kent Station RAM; Tonight at 7 we wanted a quick dinner and my husband wanted a beer. I thought that everyone was great one guy took our order he was very friendly and then another guy CARLOS came and was really nice too. My husband ordered 2 appetizer and a beer. I got a burger and a cup of tomatoe basil soup and a lemonade, for our daughter mac n cheese. Normally I can eat a whole plate of soup and still want more... well not this time i i hardly touched it and forced myself to eat at least 1/3 of the burger my husband said the the wings werent great either. We were ready to leave CARLOS who HAD been VERY nice brought our check. Our check was $66 and i asked my husband how much we should tip. But he didnt want me to because we hardly ate anything he just wanted to leave. So i asked for a box for my daughters Mac n cheese which she hardly had touched... I ended up forgetting the box so CARLOS COMES THROUGH THE BACK DOOR TELLS ME THAT I FORGOT THE BOX WITH CHECK IN HAND AND RUDELY SAID "SO I WORK FOR FREE!" Because i didnt leave a tip. I was appalled that he came outside in that manner and said that it infront of the people walking by. I wanted to go inside and speak to a manager but my husband didnt want me to make a scene because it wouldnt solve anything. When i was younger i worked for a restaurant i would NEVER SAY that to a customer. You dont know their situation you move on. TIPS are optional you cant force someone to give you one. CARLOS I HOPE YOU DONT WORK FOR FREE I HOPE THAT THE "KENT RAM" pays you hourly on top or tips like most places do. That comment makes me happy that i didnt spend a penny extra on you. Makes me glad that you showed me your true colors makes me feel less guilty that I didnt leave you a TIP.

Both times Ive visited this location the food and service have been terrible. The first time with my family was for dinner and after a 40 minute wait because our name was skipped over we waited 15 minutes just to be asked our drink order which was casually brought to the table, we waited again to order food. The food took forever, some was not done to order, and there was no recourse because of the lack of customer service- aggravating to say the least. When you wait 45 minutes to be seated and then another 45 minutes to eat, youd think it would be correct and hot, by no. The second time was lunch with friends. The place was barely occupied yet we received only cursory attention. My burger was carelessly made, dry, cold cheese unmelted, and fell apart half way through eating. My friend received the wrong sandwich and the one they brought hurriedly was not done correctly. The coleslaw was inedible; like someone dumped cabbage in a bucket of mayo, and when mentioned, the waitress came back and said the kitchen was aware it was a bad batch! Yet it was still plated and served?! Bottom line for me is I wont go back. The cost of eating out has skyrocketed while the quality of what you get has declined. This is just one example.

I have gone to the Ram in Kent on three separate occasions and consistently have gotten cold, bland food. The portion sizes are also small for this type of restaurant. The most recent time I went, I waited over an hour for a table, while having a drink in the bar brought to me by a rude and slow waitress. Finally, after getting our table and having to pressure the hostess to help us as she told us it would only be a 40 minute wait (we arrived at 7, by this time it is around 8) we received horrible and slow service by the waitress. When I finally got my food around 8:40 it was cold. My sandwich was cold and bland and looked like cat food. A friends was burnt and somehow still cold. We complained to the waitress only for a "sorry" no help or anything. We ended up spending $140 on cold food and horrible service.

They are supposed to be open until 2 on Friday and Saturday that is what both their website and their door say... we showed up at 1:15 after driving 40 mins and there was some fricken rude ass guy sitting inside on his phone shooing people away! We tried to open the door, locked. We tried to go through the bar and he was over the top waving his arms to go away and then when we said that the door said 2am he flipped us off and got on the phone! I absolutely cannot believe this we go here all the time and never have any problems and this guy who says his name is Carlos was beyond rude and unprofessional. Getting paid to close the restaurant early, turn numerous people away and then sit on his phone.. hopefully an actual manager sees this because we are pissed.

I wont be returning. I went here to celebrate my birthday and our bill had multiple errors... Not to mention a huge overcharge on one of the menu items. When the manager Nick came to address our bill, he basically blamed them overcharging on "corporate" recently changing policy and wanting items rung in a certain / more expensive way. Im pretty sure corporate would want the customer taken care of. This was not the case. Nick was condescending and unwilling to help address the multiple issues with our bill. He basically dismissed the issue and flat out walked away. Being overcharged and lack of assistance made for a pretty miserable experience on my birthday. Like I said before, I wont be back.

Our night started off with the greetinjg from the very friendly hostess Laura who was able to seat us immediately in a both, which is what we preffered. Our server Carlos then greeted us shortly after with a smile and offered us drinks immediatly. Carlos was very attentive through the whole dining experience and I would recommend then 5/5 again and again. If you happen to go in to the dining area make sure you ask for Carlos. The shift Manger Nicole greeted us near the end of the meal because it was my friends birthday and was able to get us an amazing desert to end the meal.

It has a somewhat of a understated sports bar feel, that seems pretty drab compared to other places. The food is similar to what youd find at Red Robin, only a little more expensive, but the burgers are pretty good. Surprisingly, they have always been great with kids and twice, theyve brought out little finger foods free of charge to keep my toddler son occupied. Id have to give it four stars because its a little bit on the expensive side. Parking is accessible, the wait times are reasonable, the food is good, and the staff has always been pleasant.

My boyfriend and I decided to do "Date Night" at the Ram. We ordered a nachos with beef for the first time and they were not very good. They charged extra for the beef but only put a small amount. The cheese was hard and stuck to the bottom of the pan and there wasnt enough salsa or sour cream and they didnt offer guacamole so it made the dish very dry. When we complained they did remove the charge from our bill so we were happy about that. But I definitely wouldnt recommend their nachos to anyone!
