I just moved to the glorious NW from Hawaii and I spent the week researching where in Renton I could watch the Pacquiao vs Bradley fight. I found that Cheers in Renton had explicitly advertised the fight both on to their Facebook and their own website. So I do the responsible and proper thing and get an UBER ride to the Renton location from my home. I excitedly approach the bartender and ask where I can watch the fight, and she tells me that they decided not to show it at the last minute. I told her that I just took an UBER from my house and was dropped off. " Sorry sir." Of course in life and in business, plans change and the fact that I missed the fight is less of an issue than the lack of an immediate recognition of my efforts to get to Cheers, by attempting to salvage their credibility on the spot with an offer of a pint or even a game of pool. So I walked to the pub across the street and was treated with dignity. I still managed to make it a nice evening by enjoying a leisurely walk in dpowntown Renton and enjoyed a wonderful meal at Blossom. Life is too short to allow minor disruptions to dictate ones happiness. One must always try to make lemonade out of lemons...but that lemonade will never ever be poured at Cheers for this boxing fan. Did I mention that Blossom is fantabulous?!

My sons girlfriend turned 21 yesterday. We went to a bar across the way from Cheers "for her first drink at 21" and the bartender was so rude I couldnt believe it. I will never go back to this bar, EVER. We thought we would go try out Cheers, after our horrible experience at the other bar (across the street). We walked into Cheers and the bartenders were very welcoming. They made her first experience awesome! We will be back Tuesdays for the $1.50 tacos and tell all of our friends about "the new bar in town"! Thank you Cheers for making the night perfect! I cannot remember the bartenders name, but I do know she is new to the Renton area and I think she said she lives in Tacoma!!! :)

Ok food, all sandwiches seem to be served on the same bread. They dont serve street tacos on UFC night- makes no sense. Waitress service is inconsistent each time and inefficient especially when youre in a large group. Upstairs inside and outside the bathrooms smelled of sewage. Last but not least there was someone vaping upstairs one of the recent nights I was there. Note- same laws apply to vaping in public places and operating business. Has potential to be a nice experience if improvements are made.

Went here for the first time for a Birthday party. We watched the UFC fight. The place was packed.. The service was great. I didnt order any food just drinks. The people that were with me that ordered food were all satisfied and saying the food was really good. Maria was our server for the bday party. She always checked on all of us as we were a very large group. She always made sure we were well stocked with drinks and anything we needed.. We will ba back to Cheers thats for sure!!

I am not from the area but just went here for a company happy hour. They had great mozzarella sticks and have pool tables. Its not winning any awards for design and theres certainly nothing all that hip about it. But if youre in the area and looking to watch a UFC fit or shoot some pool while tipping back a few drinks you could probably do worse. Careful of the bums who hang out around back where you park your car... They look pretty sheisty and will accost you for change.

The food sux and the drinks -- even beer -- are too expensive! I think my tab was padded as well. Sometimes the customers are so rowdy (there is a punching bag) you cant even talk to your date. HOWEVER, I thought the service was great and the bartender very sweet. (She even watches out for my next door neighbor because he drinks too much and gets overly generous, buying drinks he cannot afford for everyone else.) The pool tables are decent, and its not a dive bar.

Full house of customers with only one waitress??????? Stayed for almost an hour with no acknowledgement from the waitress at all! I cannot believe that they staff 1 bartender, 1 waitress, and 1 cook during NBA playoffs with over a hundred customers! Great place if they have less than 10 customers but not prepared for a small to large crowd in the least bit.

Terrible service. Got charged 10 dollars for a 4.50 wells drink because of the glass the bar tender put it in. I cant believe what a racket this place is. 4 dollars for a soda even if your order drinks. The food is also way overpriced garbage bar food. How this place even has customers is entirely based on the clients ignorance. Ill never come here again...

This place is a great sports bar. Breathing room and great placement of TVs. Food is good. The cook and service here is great. Sometimes the music hits a song the bartender isnt feeling theyll liven it up. Good depth of music genre of Rock. If you like sports, its great. For Renton, its like the Fox Sports Grill in Seattle. Pints are about $6

Dont go in the middle of the day, a skeleton crew can barely keep up with business and I expect it will only get worse as football season approaches. Food was good once, but Ive been back and walked out after a 1p minute wait for acknowledgement by staff. With many better options nearby its hard to justify giving Cheers another shot.

The bartenders are awesome, food is good, and the bar is stocked with a wide variety of beers and liquors to choose from. Plus, theres plenty hands and tvs to entertain, if you can walk away from socializing with the friendly crowd outside drinking by the fire! Great local joint!

Very bad bartender, One of the bartender stopped selling me cervesas only because I bought a cervesa a person who should not but it was not my fault, I did not know and she behaved very bad with me very very bad, pay 25 dollars for the entrance and They refused to sell me brewers

Trying to fine a different place for lunch, so we decided to go into Cheers. Only 2 people in the whole place, made us a little bit nervous... I had the Ruben sandwich...excellent Husband had Philly Cheese Sandwich excellent Give it a try...also lots of TVs for sports

I decided to try them out for lunch the other day and I didnt expect much however I ordered a hawks burger and fries and I was blown away! I had no clue I was about to eat the best fries Ive ever had! The burger was superb too! Give them a try for their food!

Celebrating my Daughters Birthday! She ordered a Lemon Drop & it wasnt made correctly & the sugar tasted funny! The bartender said she had to drink it! No way! Who doesnt remake a drink? No problem for me not to return, I dont drink anyway!

Ive only been in once to watch a Sounders game. The food and service was ok but they had plenty of TVs. I had a cookie thing shortly after the Sounders lost to console myself. It was delicious.
