The food was my favorite - breakfast! And while it was super delicious, I want to share about the wait - staff. We were sitting next to a woman who had some mental problems. She would sit calmly, but would suddenly call out across the room to various people, stop, and turn her attention to her food, continually speaking as though someone sat across from her. She stopped every wait-person who walked by, with constant, menial requests. On two separate occasions, first a young woman and then a young man on the wait-staff were detained by her, and because they were right next to us, we could hear everything that was said. Both of these people treated her with dignity and respect, even kindness, as though her behavior was completely acceptable. They were able to appease her, and continue with their work. I was very touched by their integrity, and ability to handle this difficult customer.

Awfull experience! For starters, my daughter and i ordered cream of broccoli soup, which came out like baby food more then soup. Then my daughter choked on shards of stale crackers and threw up on the table. When we asked for help, the waitress gave us a wet rag and walked away. We then had to request a new table. A little disappointed the waitress didnt have the courtesy to do that herself. The rest of the eveneing went the same. Everything tasted like it had been sitting out. The lasagna was poorly made. I have never seen it prepared as 4 layers of noodles, 2inches of cheese, and then 4 more layers of noodles! We also had to send 2 of our plates back because of the stale or expired food. This restaurant could really benefit from fresh ingredients, and stop serving leftovers! It wouldnt hurt to also pull the bayleaf out of the soup before you serve it!

Food is subpar. The service was good and the staff were friendly and place is very clean. But the food is bland. Has no flavor too it. Sort of just eating texture. Ingredients are basic and simple but not executed in a good way. If you arent the adventurous food type and dont like anything too complicated in flavors or ingredients. The food is still completely edible and not disgusting by any means, just...more like a cafeteria. But I come from a family of extensive cooking, complicated foods, lots of spices, flavors, etc. probably would have said the food was great 10-15 years ago but my palate has changed a lot.

We love Plum Delicious for their great food and have eaten there often for many years. The meal portions are so big, sometimes we have to split a meal. Gary, the owner, always asks if everything was okay. That tells me he wants to make all of his customers HAPPY! The waitstaff is courteous, professional and I love it when they all wear their SEAHAWK jerseys to support our football team. On Saturdays they wear Husky colors. The restaurant has a fenced patio so you can eat outside on warm days and you can bring your well-behaved four legged friend. Thank you for a wonderful family friendly eatery.

I have been going to PLUM DELICIOUS for years! I have never once had a bad meal or bad service. The atmosphere, the customer service, the food and the possibilty the Richard could stop by, makes EVERY visit that much better. I love how PLUM DELICIOUS supports local AMERICAN small businesses with the purses, wallets and other products for sale right there at check out! FOOD = EXCELLENT - CUSTOMER SERVICE = EXCELLENT - ATMOSPHERE = EXCELLENT... PLUM DELICIOUS is my "go to" whenever I have out of town guest looking for a "home cooked meal" amd the best damn breakfast in RENTON!

This is one of those places where you can tell straight away that its been there for years. Nothing has been updated since the 80s or so, and theres a certain charm to that; Avon sales literature by the door, ads for other local businesses on the tables, heavy carpet, a menu still advertising a "joggers breakfast" heavy on carbs. Huge portions on the omlette, and inexpensive, but very basic. The desserts are very rich. You wont be able to finish it in one sitting; share with two.

We moved into the area a couple of years ago and discovered this restaurant and loved the all American comfort food served here, and the staff is great - they treat us like family! This is our "go to" place because of the great variety on the menu, amazing homemade soups (dont miss the Chicken Enchilada soup) and pies baked from scratch. The Farmers Omlette is amazing, and Spaghetti night on Mondays is the best deal in town. I highly recommend Plum Delicious!

I couldnt decide to give 3 or 4 stars so I gave 4 because the food was delicious. I had the eggs Benedict with fruit and the coffee was good. Staff is also friendly and give great service. Now the bad part. The place needs cleaning and an update. Kitchy can be cute but this is just a mismatched eyesore. Especially the exposed wires and the dirty, ugly ceiling. The carpet needs cleaning too. Dining is an experience of the senses too. Sights and smells count.

Visiting from Portland area, read the reviews and they did not disappoint. Great staff and service. Manager on duty was friendly and checked in with us several time. Service was friendly and quick. No wait at 10am in a Sunday morning! Food was excellent - the French toast was perfect, the pancakes were fluffy, chicken fried steak was crunchy and amongst the best I have had. Highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks for a great breakfast!

We visit often, because this is consistently a very good restaurant, from service to quality of food. No need for a tie, this is a family style comfortable place to eat and youll always be greeted with a smile and your drink will be attended to promptly. Not so out of the way, just a mile or so off 405 exit 5 going East (maybe Issaquah?) on Sunset (Hwy 900). This aptly named restaurant is worth your visit.

I enjoyed their omelette a lot, but their turkey club the next day, not so much. Too much bacon for me, it was a bit overwhelming and salty that morning for me. I took out most of the bacon and was perfect for my taste. Everything is else great, especially the service. They greet you with a smile and positive attitude. They were such a pleasure that we returned the following morning.

I am giving four stars for the breakfast. We only had dinner here once, and that would only be 3 stars. Never had lunch here. I had the pumpkin spice pancake last time I was here and it was excellent. My husband said that his big thick pumpkin pancake was not cooked all the way through, but he didnt tell anyone and Im sure it would have been fixed immediately if so.

A real treat for a person of color. A stroll through time will provide you with a service experience akin to being at a Jim Crow era lunch counter. Of course, theres none of the violence but dont expect your dignity to leave unbruised. Despite the great historical and contextual aspects of the experience, I was compelled to keep my money and leave without eating.

Sorry to say, but Ive seen it before. prices going up, not so good food, 4 retired regulars, and no one else at 5:30pm. Needs a major change, or its just a matter of time. Shorten the menu, and freshen it, and the decor up. Keep the few regulars you have, and continue going under, or create a thriving business... I hope you can make the latter happen. Good luck.
