The tellers are friendly, and there is a wholesome environment. Paintings cover the walls, and the cafes lay out has a great contrast to the hustle and bustle of the streets outside. The coffee is rich and the freshly baked bread makes for a wonderful experience. Despite the traffic outside, the cafe has a rather quite, calmness to it. Even in the heat of Summer, it is rather cool inside, and there are many iced refreshments on the menu ranging from 100% juice products and teas, to canned soda. Social events even take place at the cafe. It is a must see stop, that Im sure anyone would enjoy. If youre stopping in for a simple cup of coffee, or coming in to

Awesome coffee and amazing cupcakes. Im not a fan of sweets generally, but these cupcakes are wonderful--Ive has the plain chocolate and the peanut butter chocolate on other occasions, and tasted the apricot lemon today (made with fresh apricots from the farmers market)--delish. Tasty coffee too. Great, cozy spot with regular small tables, one larger for a group, bar chairs at the window and a number of comfy armchairs. There was a bit of an odd unpleasant smell but Im willing to overlook it--hasnt been here the other times Ive come.

Was looking for a place to do some work. The place is homey and hole in the wall. The lady that works there is very friendly and knows everyone, who are a rotating cast of characters. The food, despite the menu error, is sandiwches and soup but sounds great. The coffee is smooth and well made. I definitely recommend this place if you like friendly people and good coffee. Only drawbacks: I didnt see many outlets and a lack of seating for if it were to be busy. Will come again, for sure!

Excellent service, small, funky and fun. Events like open mike and movie night ~ so its a great place to hang. In the morning the regulars include many of the local small business owners, so its a fun place to network. Bottom line: the coffee is excellent, hand crafted and consistent any day of the week. Ive given up SBs in order to get my coffee here! Thank you Liberty (FYI cash only)

I visit frequently. I absolutely love this coffee shop. I believe their coffee tastes so rich and flavorful, compared to Starbucks. The staff is so welocoming and friendly. They allow artists to hang their artwork for a month long period. This small shop has a very rustic, jazzy feel to it. I hear they are going to be doing open mic again, as well as other events.

Good coffee and GREAT owners. Liberty Cafe is the kind of neighborhood coffee place you wish you had in your neck of the woods. Its a cute, little place where you can get a nice tea or coffee, a bite, and the latest neighborhood news. The owners greet you with old fashioned kindness and warmth. An excellent stop in Renton.

I went there to see an art exhibition of a local artist that I follow. I had driven past this place many times before but never stopped. It was an absolute delight. I am a bit snobby about coffee. No complaints here. The coffee was smooth and delicious. I will most definitely come back. Next time I will snag some food too.

My fiancé and I got Liberty Cafe on one of our first dates. Today we stopped in only 2 days before our wedding! The staff have been nothing but friendly, generous, and welcoming. Not to mention their coffee is delicious! I particularly recommend their mocha! :P Thanks Liberty Cafe for being so wonderful!

I love this place. The people are wonderful. It is the best of the USA for community. A great place to go and relax and have some good eats or enter into a lively conversation. Fun and provocative art and sometimes some original music. Not to be missed!

This place was wonderful! Was visiting Seattle with my boyfriend and wanted to try out some locally owned places. The lady here was so kind and fun to talk to, and made delicious paninis and coffee. Will definitely come back next time were in town!

Liberty Cafe is a great place to hang out and access the Internet with free wifi, enjoy the artwork on the wall, or just catch up with some good friends. The blend of atmosphere and delicious coffee. Come once, and you wont be able to stay away.

Small and intimate cafe. Coffee is reasonably price and staff is friendly. Free WI-fi and food, if youre hungry. Filled with locals, and in downtown Renton, WA. Homey atmosphere, and limited seating. Good for a date, but not large groups.

I love this place, Mike is a real ray of sunshine and every single one of his employees are super cool, not to mention the coffee is divine. Its to the point where I wont get coffee anywhere else, this place is that good.

Best local, not corporate, neighborhood, friendly, culture supporting and coffee in town. Just went there to see a (free) movie shown by the volunteers of Meaningful Movies. Awesome place, awesome people.

You arent going to find a better coffee shop in Renton or anywhere else for that matter. Exactly what an indy coffee shop should be: cozy, eclectic, a community hub, and serving up caffeinated gold!

Very nice locally owned cafe and the owners are very nice. I prefer it over Starbucks honestly because their heart is in everything they make. Has an at home atmosphere

We were just looking for a quick coffee and a pastry, and were very pleased with how nice the owner was. The coffee was great and the prosciutto panini was delicious.

This coffee shop is a gem in Renton. The dirty chai is pretty amazing. Ask for it over ice if youre cycling through on a hot afternoon.

Not enough space and does nothing to dampen sound. The coffee is good though.
