Had the worst experience that Ive ever had at any Publix. During the process of having my $10 sub made, I asked for a certain topping that was displayed as a topping. Only to be told by the deli manager, Margaret, who was actually making my sub that there was no way I could get the topping I wanted. Yes I know that it was a simple request and yes I know that at times they may run out. To be told that they have never had the ingredients when its clearly posted as an option shocked me. Margaret not only made me as a customer feel dumb but she then decided to discuss the situation in front of me with her coworkers. Saying that shes the manager and how would a customer know what she has and doesnt have. Ive been to multiple stores and Ive never been so belittled before in my life. I thought Publix was a company that actually cared about their customers and today I questioned that. Its not the company that I blame for my bad experience today but the staff who was at this particular location. For the manager to be so rude when she should have been the one trying to make everything better, not only angered me but somewhat disgusted me. I love Publix and their subs but if this is the way that a paying customer is going to be treated then Ill just take my money elsewhere. The attitude that Margaret displayed was embarrassing not only to me but also for the company. Not sure if the problem with Margaret will be fixed but I know that I will no longer shop at this location. Which for me now means that I have to go out of my way just to shop at a store that I love. They really need to work on food prep cleanliness at the deli. I went there to get a sub today, and the person behind the counter was using a dirty knife that had mayo on it so old it was turning clear. Not to mention a little bit of every sandwich she had already made on it. She did not clean it, and started cutting my bread before I could even ask her to clean it. I was so grossed out I had to leave....this is the 3rd time that has happened at this location, and the LAST time I will ever try to go there.

Next to Stein Mart Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free , organic items Refrigerated probiotics in the vitamin aisle Four brands of Kombucha. GTs, Humm, Big-Easy Bucha, Kevita Great prices , cheaper then Whole Foods Friendly and knowledgeable employees Vegan ice cream . Ben and jerry Green wise® items are my favorite Child stroller and wheel chair accessible

Friendly, helpful staff who order in items for me and call when they arrive. They are always willing to answer questions and check in the back for products when needed. Consistently clean store with fresh produce, meats, dairy etc. Cashiers ask if I got everything I needed and offer to call for someone to help if I need something else. Smaller than some other Publix stores but friendlier and more helpful.

I am partial to Publix over Winn-Dixie, but this one is nicer than most. Good selection, too. They have weekly specials and a lot of B1G1 sales too. Florida service workers are often disinterested at best and rude at worst, but I find they try to be helpful and courteous at Publix.
