Cafe Ibex has delicious Ethiopian food and very friendly service. The restaurant is simple, with pictures of Ethiopia as decorations. I like that its a no frou-frou kind of restaurant because it was very welcoming. You are served a very large plate of food with an array of dishes to enjoy. I definitely recommend at least 2 or 3 people be in your party so that you can eat it all. The chef & owner made sure to come out and welcome us and ask about the quality of food. We were also given a complimentary and very delicious dessert. I highly recommend Cafe Ibex if you are looking for delicious, authentic Ethiopian food.

They dont always bring exactly what you ordered but everything they bring you is very very good. Service is not especially fast but neither is prep of this great cuisine, it should take awhile. Unlike some Ethiopian places this one is still inexpensive. $20 for a lamb combo with honey wine. Call ahead because they arent always open during posted hours. This is my favorite Ethiopian restaurant and numerous Ethiopians and Eritreans have confirmed to me that it is also one of their favorites.

Went there yesterday and had the worst service the waitress had an attitude not friendly at all its funny cause there was a few white ppl and she was kissing their ass and just cause am from africa like them my money aint good enough i guess i ordered and got mad and decided to leave the waitress followed us out asking where we going and i told her exactly how i felt she didnt have nothing to say will never go back thats for sure

BEST in Seattle, hands down! Its fun to go eat with your friends and sometimes family. Theres a TV for everyone to watch a game or news or anything on! Theres a great cook who works only at night. And there are always amazing preformances weekly and especially on Ethioipan holidays! Definitely recommend this restaurant for EVERYONE to enjoy.

I just ordered over the phone. The lady was SO rude! She asked " What do you want there are other customers here? " Umm, all I wanted to know was what was on the veggie platter? I have always loved the food... but if they pride themselves on being humble and good customer service you get 1 star.

Delicious. Went as part of the Plate of Nations promotion, ate entirely too much because I couldnt resist, and didnt break the bank. I cant really say what my favorite dishes were, though, since I have no idea what the individual items were!

Friendly place with some great Ethiopian food! Several friends that previously didnt like Ethiopian food really liked this place. There is a large room/banquet room with stage in the back too.

This place is amazing. Frosted glasses, excellent food and great service. Its one of the few gems that weve not lost to gentrification.
