We usually get our Teriyaki from Happy Teriyaki, where the portions arent as large but the quality is always outstanding and the staff is wonderful and polite. BUT they arent open on Sunday. We tried Wok once and were very impressed by the large portions, and the taste/quality was comparable to HT. But this last Sunday will be the last time we will ever, ever go into this eatery again. They close at 9 pm, no time to call ahead so we rushed down there at 8:30. The lady behind the counter looked pissed because we were there. She rushed us to get our order, and when she turned it in to the cook she yelled "SORRY" to him, obviously because we had the audacity to come in and order 40.00 worth of food, to go, 30 minutes before they close. There was one other couple waiting for food, and the counter lady actually told them that "next time try better planning and come in earlier". The people in the kitchen were all yelling in whatever language they speak, and one of the cooks came out to the dining area and sat down and was GLARING at the people waiting to get their food. When we got our food, I paid and the counter lady ripped the money out of my hand, handed me the bag without a thank. you. When we got into our truck, she was locking up and closing blinds...it was 9 oclock on the dot. So they all got off work and were able to close on time, even with pesky customers who wanted FOOD coming in and bothering them. THE FOOD: Teriyaki chicken was awesome, as were the egg rolls. Kobi Beef Ribs (most expensive item) were sub-par, almost all gristle and very hard to chew. Wonton looked like deep fried tortellini and was so old and so super crispy I had to throw it all in the garbage. Bottom line: I worked for 10 years in a restaurant. We closed at 10 pm. If a customer came in and ordered at 9:55 we had to serve them, courteously, even if it meant staying until 11 when they were finished eating. We never showed frustration to the customer, and most DEFINITELY never mentioned that they were making us stay past closing time. The way we were treated by the staff at WOK is unacceptable, and the food did NOT make up for their nasty, bad attitude. Never going there again. We will just plan to order Teriyaki on Monday through Saturday at Happy Teriyaki, where we can get BOTH excellent service and food! :) The Wok gets 1 star for the good chicken.

Been there 3 times to make sure it wasnt just a bad day trying to give them the benefit of a doubt. All instances were the same. Lady was very rude and harsh taking orders over the phone. She messed up my orders all 3 times even when I dined in on the second time. She yelled at some customers to get out of her way and called them rude for standing in line. . . This place is a joke. Food isnt anything to ride home about. Its just convienent because I work nearby. But Ill never go back after today. Id give them no stars if I could. Worst experience. Worse than any other teriyaki joint Ive ever been to.

If you want authentic this is NOT the place. Ordered two orders of Gyozas and all I can think is so this is what gyozas would taste like if McDs started serving them! Seriously taste frozen to fried and the best part is they lay it on a bed of shredded WET cabbage! So those crisp fried gyozas you just paid for are now soggy YAY! Finally if you expect any kind of gyoza sauce like youd normally get, WRONG! Expect packets like you get at Safeway that is a soy/vinegar mix (more soy than anything)... NOT impressed!

How do these people get people to go and eat here??? The rudest nastiest service I have ever gotten....and I tried calling in to order some food! The worst service in the Puyallup period!!!! You should close down your place because you have no customer service at all. This is not the first time either Ive gotten bad service from them unreal! I normally dont ever post things but I am done with this place! PLEASE EVERYONE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE PERIOD.............They dont deserve any star at all!

We ordered our food to go around 8:30pm. We were greeted with "Stay or To Go?" We had looked online before choosing this restaurant and knew they closed at 9:30 that evening. The waitress / cashier looked relieved when we said to go. She offered us both a cup soup as we waited for our order. We were both very happy with our choices that we ordered. The quantity was exceptional large portions. One major problem is this restaurant is difficult to get into because of the weird parking lot.

Worst customer service Ive ever had ! Whats a veggie yakisoba without any veggies ? Asked the lady if she could bring me a plate with veggies and she gave me the worst attitude and threw my plate asked me whats wrong with that. I cant believe she even had to ask. Customer is always right she shouldnt have thrown a plate at me. The food is great but the customer service is horrible, they should hire people willing to satisfy their customers not abnoxuous people like that lady! Never going back!

Tried for the first time tonight. We will be back. Food was very good, prices were equally good, and the portions? Holy happy tummy, they are huge. No wonder the very nice lady looked a little shocked when we ordered three entrees to go and told her there were only two of us. We wanted to try a little variety since it was our first visit, and now well be snacking on stir fry and chow mien for days, but that definitely isnt a bad thing.

Awesome food, quick service, non of that fluff that the other restaurants put on you. Simple and quick ordering. At times, especially at night, there is only one person doing everything in the front (waiting tables, taking orders, refilling glasses, etc., so have youre order ready). Huge portions, even for to-go orders. They fill the take-out box to the top! Same price as every other teriyaki place but twice the food!

This is our families favorite spot. My very picky 3 and 4 year old LOVE their teriyaki chicken. When we walk in we are always greeted with a smile, even when they are slammed. The woman who runs the place is amazing. She takes time out of her crazy busy day to come by our table to say hi and make us feel welcomed. I recommend this place to everyone and have even converted a few from their favorire teriyaki place.

We were car shopping in the area and got super hungry and needed a place to sit down, get quick food, and discuss the cars we had seen. The prices were higher than we expected ($9-10 for teriyaki) but the quality was excellent, service was much better than we usually receive in little teriyaki joints, and the portions were big enough we both had lunch the next day.
