I went there with my husband today, we were not impressed. Coming in I picked up a light smell of urine (bathrooms are close to the door). Service was very slow even though it wasnt busy. That gave us time to look around. We saw flies circling under the lamps and dust bunnies hanging from the beams in the dining room. I noticed the salad I had ordered was sitting "in the open" on the counter for at least 5 minutes before our waitress picked it up, added something to it and then brought it to the table. The batter on my chicken pieces was thick and very hard. The pomegranate vinaigrette tasted like pure vinegar. My husbands baked beans had a dry film on them (how long have they been in the dish?), he didnt even try them. He ordered his tri tip steak medium but it came raw with ligaments. There was a group of 4 seniors at the table next to us, we could hear them complaining about the same things. They had a salad that was sitting out with mine and cold steaks that they sent back into the kitchen. Overall guests didnt eat much of their food, the plates going back were still rather full. On the positive side: the complementary honey rolls and butter were really good and warm. And the bathroom was surprisingly clean. Will not come back!

I stopped by for the first time about 9:30 Saturday night. The place was mostly empty and I thought the menu was a little expensive, but I thought I would give it a try since they are open a little later than most. I ordered a 6oz sirloin with baked potato and broccoli for $15.49. It came in about 20 minutes. The steak was just a small 4 oz piece of very tough gristle and fat. I called over the server and showed her that it was inedible and that it was the worst steak that I had ever ordered. She apologized and sent it back. After about 10 minutes another steak showed up. It looked promising, but even though it was only about 1/4 inch thick, it was raw even though I had ordered it medium, and it was extremely salty. After this time I really was not that hungry anymore, but I ate the steak and took the potato and broccoli in a to go box. I try judge a restaurant on the overall value of food quality, price, taste, ambiance, and service. At least the service was ok, not exceptional since I finished my water but was never offered a refill. Not worth the price and I will not be back.

The only positive, was that we were seated right away. The table was dirty, so the hostess grabbed a rag out of a bucket, and wiped the table, and left water all over the table. We had to use our napkins to clean up her mess. 15 minutes later when we finally seen our waitress, we asked for new napkins, and our drink order was taken. The appetizers we ordered we cold, and the onion rings were not fried properly and tasted like flour. We ordered two hamburgers, and a steak. All of which came to the table RAW. We finally got new napkins. We didnt see our waitress again for another 15 minutes. So my kids ate their side dishes, till we could get our check and get out of there. They only took one dish off the check. If they took the food off the table because it was not what we ordered, and not safe for my kids to eat, why am I paying for it. I had to bite my tongue, when the waitress said, I hope you have a better experience next time. Why not work a little harder to make this experience better????? We will not be back!

We went to eat at the bar around 5:50 pm Wednesday. It was 20 min before we stopped a waitress who was walking by our table. She said Ill get your server. It was almost 15 minutes before the bartender came to take our order. She brought us drinks 10 - 12 min later but still hadnt taken our order. She came back to take our order 10 minutes later. 20 minutes later she came by and said she was going to bring us some rolls. 10 min later we got the rolls... 15 min later we got our food. It was good except the garlic mashed potatoes were kind of like a soup or something. The servers were polite . They need more waitresses. The menu prices are a lot higher and the servings are a lot smaller than they used to be. Same situation 2 weeks ago * We finally walked out after wed been there a half hour and had ordered drinks 15 minutes before and we decided thats long enough and left without getting our drinks or paying.

Went on vacation to visit family. Im from Indiana. There were 11 of us, they sat us at a big table next to a wall. The food was going good, our waitress was amazing UNTIL the end of our dinner. My husband got the check, and I walk around the table to see how much it was so I knew how much to tip. There were between 10 and 20 LONG nails sticking out of the wall. One of the nail caught my BRAND NEW pair of shoes, and scratched two of my toes. Our waitress came over and offered me a fricken free dessert to take home. My niece had to go get the manager. He took my contact information and said he would get ahold of me. I still have heard nothing, and probably wont, as I live across the country!! Will NEVER return to the DANGEROUS restaurant!! All my family lives in Portland, so I go back to Oregon often!

This place used to be amazing when I was a kid. Now its terrible. When they shut down to remodel, I had hopes it would be better when it reopened. Well i have been to roadhouse more than 10times since they reopened... Either the service is terrible or the food is terrible. Often times its both. I am not one to complain but I have complained a few times at this establishment. The management always offers to not charge me but I always pay in an effort to demonstrate that I dont care about free stuff, I care about good food and good service. I will never take my family here again, I suggest you avoid this place so they shut down. Maybe then we can have a nice steakhouse in Gresham.

Good food, but the last time we went we were basically ignored by staff, and they never did get rolls out to us, though multiple people around us who were seated after us got them. Whenever we asked they told us that they were making more...then they forgot one of our meals, so they brought it out late. Then they never gave us our salads, so we had those and the rolls after we had finished our main meal. I hope that this was the exception rather than the rule, since we enjoy this place and havent had such bad experiences before. The blackberry lemonade is excellent!

This place is a little spendy but the food, atmosphere and service are worth it. Our server was very nice and, imagine that, tentative. Also, they dont put the whipped butter back into the fridge. Seriously, whats the point of whipping it if you put it back in the fridge. My steak was cooked to Perfection and very tender. They also recently remodeled the whole restaurant including the kitchen. I would recommend this place for dates and also a place to bring your family. They have a reasonable kids menu. I would recommend this place to anyone.
