1) Cooks hair down past shoulders with ball cap not in net. Hair is even in holder but purposely pulled in front hanging down over shoulder. 2) Server walked away in middle of our order to get the first drink ordered. 3) Server is very hard of hearing we had to repeat everything multiple times. 4) Workers phone was not on silent "jail house rock" played. Just not very professional. 5) Needed to ask for ketchup but without looking at my face the server could not hear me so I gave up after 4 tries. *Overall- This was a very unsatisfactory visit to this eating establishment. The lack of professionalism was disturbing. NOW about the food....No salt on the potatoes, canned chicken for the salad, crappy bread, basically nothing was made in house. Anyone can operate a microwave and follow instructions, why they need a cook I dont know.

If you are looking for a great breakfast or lunch go to The Rose. Located directly accrose the street from the Puyallup train station it makes a great stop to get a bite to eat before going downtown Seattle for the games. It opens early and theyll be ready for you. Oh, and dont forget to say HI to the owner, Brigette, she does most of the cooking but loves to come out from the kitchen to talk with the customers.

Food is fresh and service is great. The omelets are filled with many vegetables and its done just right. When my husband and I want to go out for breakfast, we always come here. The wait time is impressive. Food is out within 10 minutes of ordering. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 star is because the prices are a bit steep and the decor can use some TLC. Other than that, its great!

This is the second time ive meet someone to eat here, the place is a small friendly restaurant. It has a gentle hometown atmosphere, the food is good and what seem to be regular guests are just as nice as the staff.

I seen the cook cough into her hand then continue to cook as well as having all her cooking materials stuffed into her dirty apron was enough for me to be grossed out. Again the staff was very friendly.

The Rose is a staple of Puyallup. I loved my food, but my fiance was not impressed with her biscuits & gravy. The biscuit was dry and too dense. The service was as expected and the place was packed.

Cute little Mom & Pop place. Decent breakfast at a great price. Little concerned about the broken fridge thats visible to customers and holding milk. Wonder whats going on that you cant see.
