Doesnt look the best on the outside, but the inside is beautiful. The service is good, and if you generally like to be left alone you will be here. I gave the service 2/3 because they dont check up on you particularly often, but I believe that is on purpose. That is my preference, but maybe not everyones. The food was great and made relatively quickly! Ive had two different dishes: yakisoba and a bento meal. Both tasted great, and overall the restaurant has a very great authentic feel to it :). Id advise anyone to go here and try it over the many terriyaki places around. Very high quality food!

This is by far the best sushi in the area, my Fiance and I had been looking for a great place in Puyallup for a few months and finally stumbled here. We now try to go at least once a week if not more. The service is always amazing and the owners are wonderful but even more importantly the sushi is fresh, inventive and highly tasty. Even my fiance, a diehard vegetarian, has tons of options and never gets tired of their fresh and flavorful veggie rolls. I highly recommend this place to all sushi lovers.

Very good and fresh sushi. I would say the best one in county and very athletic. Presentation is the best, well crafted, just like artwork. They will customize your roll to your liking. Service could be little slow and its understandable. If you want fast service go to revolving sushi place and eat their few hours old sushi fast. They are not rude there, its cultural thing and language barrier. Will be going there as long as they are around.

Wasnt expecting much from the outside appearances, but I was pleasantly surprised. Food was very good. And the house sake was very tasty as well and served hot. Tried sushi, yakisoba, fried rice, miso soup, and kim chee. All dishes were delicious. Large selection of sushi rolls too. Service was pretty quick. Wish they had a sushi buffet. Overall experience was great. Will definitely be coming back to try more dishes here.

My girlfriend and i are quite the sushi lovers.. weve had sushi from all over the nation. This is BY FAR the best sushi you will ever experience.. the fish is fresh and the roll choice is amazing! they come out with new rolls every month! some suggestion rolls (our personal favorite) are the lemon salmon roll, Godzilla roll, and the las vegas roll. and who knows mabey we will see you there :)

I thought i was not going to be able to find a good sushi place near puyallup after several failed attempts, but this place proved me wrong. The sushi is some of the best sushi i have ever had, the service is excellent, the staff is very friendly, and atmosphere is always warm and comfortable. i moved away from puyallup a few months ago but this place is worth the drive every time.

Previous experiences with other locations range from excellent to terrible. This location is consistently mediocre. Theres nothing wrong with it, but theres really no reason to return. Its a good place to check out if youve never been, but it will be a while before I come back. The pork burrito is a classic, and I recommend that being your first meal.

Just finished our first trip to Ichiban. We loved it. I like the sushi fresh and they delivered. Miso soup, tekka maki, and sashimi. They have a nice atmosphere, cozy, not over done, clean and well spaced out. Nice window seats. Off the beaten path, welcome addition to Puyallup where finding a non chain restaurant with caring servers is a rarity.

We have been here a few times since we found it, by far the best sushi in Puyallup! We love it the sushi is amazing, as has been with all other items we have ordered. The service is amazing&we love how it is a mom&pop place the chef is awesome at what he does&all of his recommendations for sushi when we go is spot on perfection! Love it here.

Wow, I walked in to this place when it was completely empty, thought Id take a chance. The lady that greeted me was so rude and acted like she was doing me a favor, it was 2hrs to close btw so not like I came in last minute. Anyway she was so rude that I left before ordering.

This place is awesome. The rolls are delicious and cheap. Im so glad I found it. I was skeptical at first when I pulled up to the restaurant but after my first bite of red snapper I knew this place was the real deal. I will definitely be returning.

The wife and I love sushi. Ichiban has the freshest sushi I have ever eaten. The rolls were huge, the beer was cold, and the prices were amazing. We will be coming back at least twice a week now. THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!!!

Sushi was mediocre, waitress was working hard so the kitchen must have been the bottleneck because it seemed like we were waiting forever. I would give it two and a half but I cant so Ill round up :-)

Good teriyaki chicken. Good portions. Hot tea is an extra charge of $2.50. Restaurant is cold in winter. Waitress could be friendlier. Prefer Teriyaki 2U in Auburn.
