The view is the best part about this place, other than that, nothing much stands out. With the exception of the substandard management. We took our out-of-town guests to Arnies for my husbands birthday dinner. Someone forgot to get our appetizers going, so we sat and sat and waited and waited. Finally, my husband went to find someone to see what was going on. In the meanwhile, the manager (who we discovered had been watching the whole time) came over to explain that our order ticket had been jammed in the machine or something like that. Would we like our appetizers and dinners at the same time? My husband opted to not do that and have the appetizers arrive first. It was obvious at this point, that they knew they had screwed up, but noone had approached us to explain the situation. They were hoping we wouldnt notice. The food was ok, my daughters entree was cold, so Im sure they just kept our already cooked meals under a heat lamp. Disappointing. The manager did apologize and did knock something off the bill. Things happen, it was the handling of the situation that left a lot to be desired. So, last night, my husbands workplace (local business) held a retirement party there, with 40 attendees. The organizer had gone to Arnies IN PERSON, to book the party and discuss with their staff. During dinner, complete with speeches and clapping, they were told they had to be quiet. Are you serious? It is a retirement party with 40 people and you expect them to sit silently, eat their meal, hand over $1,000+ and go home? If Arnies is not able to accommodate a party, then dont. But do not be willing to treat them rudely and then take their money. Unbelievable. At some point the manager apologized and offered something free. Too little, too late. He didnt tell the guy behind us loudly speaking on his cell phone, to shut up when we were there for my husbands birthday. Why offend a party of 40, holding a civilized get together. Unbelievable. We will never go there again - their business practices need a lot of work. Ivars has a great view too and my experience there has always been a positive one.

Let me start by saying that this was my one year anniversary with my girlfriend. I wanted to take her someplace I remembered as being good. We made reservations. When we arrived, the hostess was abrasive. Told us we would wait 15 minutes past our reservation. Upon seating, I could see cooked rice grains still on the table in plain view. My girlfriend pointed out the greasy fingerprints on the glasses and silverware. The chairs and tables were sticky. She felt that we should leave, but I said lets give it a chance. When the waitress arrived after 15 minutes of being seated she proceeded to complain about how bad her evening was going. She too was abrasive throughout the whole ordeal. We finally placed our orders after having been there over 30 minutes. That was 8:00. Our food finally arrived at 9:00. One hour later. My girlfriend and I were not impressed at all. My girlfriends risotto was wet and lumpy and had no flavor. My fried seafood was like a grease sponge with unchanged oil. As soon as our food arrived we started being attacked by fruit flies. At least they were happy with that place. They can have it. We ll never set foot in that place again. Ill spread the word that what was once a nice place a decade ago is now a total hole. STAY AWAY!

Not impressed. Food was boring. Ivars would have been a better choice for fish & chips and even though its a seafood restaurant, dont expect to find shucked oysters, but you will find their version of a thai chicken curry...just what you expect to find, right. Anyway, if your looking for a nice seafood meal, go to Anthonys, any Anthonys. For one, Anthonys seafood prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, staff & atmosphere are good and epending on the Anthonys you go to, you should get a nice view of the sound waters, even the lock waters at the Queen Anne Anthonys is nice. Would not recommend Arnies. Sorry. =(

My girlfriend and I went to Arnies for a nice dinner. After sipping down to the bottom unflavored part of her drink she realized that the flavor had been masking the taste of expired creme. Even after smelling her drink, the waitress scoffed, couldnt muster an apology and stated that there was nothing she could do for us. Both the waitress and the manager on duty were incompetent. Arnies needs to learn a thing or two about customer service. They even refused to comp the meager twenty-five dollar bill. The health department will be hearing about this.

After crossing on the ferry we chose to dine at Arnies . I had high fives about Arnies from my two golfing buddies . They were totally correct what a great place ! the views of the bay , the service ,the food and even the parking were tops . The entire staff... Our two hostess greet you as friends. ,Roger our server is knowledgable , full of short stories and tops in server etiquette. The stars of the event are those you do not see but prepare you a great tasty meal . Go I am certain you too will have a great dining experience at Arnies

This is my second time here this week! I am sure that tells you how much I like this place! Although there is only one vegiterian dish and a couple of side dishes I can have here, that was good enough for me to come back and enjoy. Their sexy fries is a must try, and I liked their coconut curry with veggies and edamame. Best of all is the location! It is situated across from the harbor where you can watch the ferry taking off and an awesome ocean view right from your table!! Last but not least, my waiter Elena was great!

Had reservations for 5 pm but still had to wait 15 past reservation time...wasnt even busy. Our waiter was perfect from start to finish. The atmosphere was super. The pork chop dish was dry and tasteless and way over priced for what was served. My husband ordered a chicken fettuccine dish with a blue cheese that he didnt particularly care for nor did I but not to say that one isnt for someones liking. Overall it was a great place but Ill probably not becoming back due to my experience with my dry over priced dish.

Went to Arnies with a large group of people around lunch on Sunday. It was not crowded when we arrived but it quickly filled us as lunch hour progresses. The sever did a decent job taking care of everyone considering our group size, but she could have been a little more assertive. The dishes came with large portions of food and everyone for a sticky bun which tastes amazing. There is plenty of parking around across the street and by the water. Arnies Restaurant is defiantly worth checking out.

My wife ordered the Sirloin Steak and prawns it might have been 5 ounces and 2 prawns with a potato patty for $37.50 Ridiculous the steak was over cooked. I ordered the fishermans platter which was Alaskan cod prawns scallops calamari and french fries and coleslaw for $27.50 the only edible food was the calamari. When I complained how salty every thing was the server suggested that I order ice cream to counter act the salt. I will never eat at this restaurant again!!!!
