Visited Napa for a girls weekend & some local folks recommended this place. We got in right when they opened with reservations and had some amazing cider. The food was good, but for the price I was expecting a little more (portion wise), especially after drinking most of the day and being hungry. But - if youre not a drunk ravaged tourist, it is probably enough food. The service was great, the food was good, the ambiance was also great & fun.

Love everything about this place. The design is warm and well thought out. The service was friendly and balanced with not toomuch attention, yet attentive. The food was fantastic! The spicy miso ramen did not disappoint, nor did the romanesco cauliflower. We sat in front of the street style bbq bar, and the wood fire was nice and warm since it was raining outside. I thought the price point was fair and on par with that caliber of restaurant.

Really good food. Modern izakaya styled menu. Good sake selection. Service does drop a little when it gets busy, as the layout doesnt help the floor staff to move around efficiently. Recommend to go early. With 3 dollars signs, I was a little disappointed to have to get charged extra 3 dollars per egg yolk and 4 dollars for real wasabi. Other than that, highly recommend their delicious food.

My wife and I come here often #okonomiyaki junky, and today I decided to bring my 13yr old son as he wants to explore japanese food. He bravely ate the braised kombu amusé and then proceeded to gobble up ALL of my taiyaki AND tuna shashimi. I say he is well on his way to being a very well rounded gourmet. Pick up your daughters! Ha ha.

I took my wife here for her birthday dinner, we hadnt been there yet. I as usual had to work late but the were open until 10pm so great choice... It was pretty good. I enjoyed the meal and the service was good. However it was a bit pricey. I think all in all its a nice place.

You dont have to love Japanese cuisine to love this place. Their excellent meats and flavors are outstanding. The best soft serve flavors in town. Outstanding wines by the glass or bottle. Gorgeous wood bar. Friendly staff. My go to place for lunch or dinner when Im in town

Traditional Japanese on point! This locally owned gem boasts an excellent wine and sake selection, classic yakitori burning wood imported from Japan and the best sashimi Ive had in town yet! Their ice cream window with unique flavors is a great addition to downtown as well.

Japanese meets California fresh in a very interesting way. Great decir and design inside, excellent service and food that makes you want to go back every night and try the entire menu. Let the staff make great recommendations and go with them.

Different from the usual Japanese food. Yes they serve sushi but its much more. The place focus more on the experience of the meal course. Food taste ok. Nothing stood out as extraordinary.
