This used to be a great place. No more! Service was slow and staff inattentive. This was lunch time, they were not busy. Sushi was not fresh and low quality. Everything was stuffed with cucumber or fake crab, apparently to make up for tiny fish you receive. my co-worker and I feel sick after eating here. On the way back to work he was ready to puke. I used their bathroom before we ate, those weird little Christian cult comics were left out... what a creepy place!

Ive been eating at Ozumas for several years now and enjoy the fresh fish and wide selection of rolls. I tried to order salmon one day and the chef wouldnt serve it. It looked ok to me, but he assured me that he will not serve anything but fresh sushi. This is why I keep coming back! Ozuma is not a fancy sushi restaurant, but the decor is nice, quality of the food is great and nice service. I hope you share the same experience as my family and I have in the past.

Good food in a pleasant place, nice staff, good value for your money. The sushi is not the most artistic but is made fresh to order and is always tasty. The tempura is very good, light and crunchy on the outside. Noodle bowls are good, as are the bento boxes. My favorite is the "Boat Special #1", but all the food Ive had there over the years has been good. Casual, reasonable prices and family-friendly.

Every meal I have had there has been good, but never outstanding. If you are hungry for local Japanese food, you should be plenty happy, but this is not the kind of place you would drive 20 miles for. However, I think I might just eat there tonight!

I highly recommend Ozumas. The food is very good, the portions are sized well (compared to other local places), and the prices are very reasonable. The chef and waitstaff are friendly, some are the actual owners, so they put their heart into it.

Great soft shell crap. Any place thats in San Carlos for more than 15 years means its quality good yummy. Also they have a sweet traditional sushi room in the side.

Service was good. The tonkatsu was not my favorite - pork cutlet was a bit tough and dry. Should have been tenderized before cooking. Sushi and sashimi were good

Hard competition for Sushi around here. You would not be disappointed going here but You might be more happy with the selection around this place.

Love me some miso soup. The rolls are great and they have some cool lunch specials. Restaurant vibe is cool and the service are quite attentive.

An ok for sushi, prices are reasonable therefore the food is tasty but will not be the best option if your palate is a bit on the whiny side.

Weve been coming to Ozuma for 30 years. We like its relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere and consistently good food at a reasonable price.

The service is good but the food is overpriced and not very exceptional, sake bottle sizes are tiny and also overpriced.

Pretty decent for a local shop. Better than Kaigan which is just down the street.
