It was my buddies birthday, so we had a party of 8. We were seated fairly quickly upstairs, ordered drinks, and then proceeded to wait. And wait. And wait. It took 30 minutes for our appetizers to get to our table. We ordered a couple pizzas and some burgers and then waited some more. The pizzas came 30 minutes later, and granted they were tasty, but half of our party was still lacking their food. The waitress came by several minutes later saying that the kitchen lost the ticket for the burgers and they would be done soon. Another half hour passed and there was no sign of the burgers. A party of 5 that was seated after us had already been served their food and bill, and thats when we asked for the manager. The manager couldnt be bothered to come speak with us, as we had to wait ANOTHER 15 minutes before he even came to our table, where he promptly waved us away and said the burgers would be free, and little else. I was appalled that we had to wait SO long, for the food firstly, and then to speak to the manager for complaint. He was so dismissive and rude. The burgers FINALLY came when we asked for our checks and to-go boxes, and it was the final straw that every single burger was cold to the touch. We were there for 2 hours, and most of it was spent waiting. We will not be returning, and I recommend to everyone that considers The Rock to look elsewhere. The food is overpriced and takes way too long to get to your table. The staff is rude and dismissive. Just awful.

I have been there once before and enjoyed it, but today was not the best. For starters, the waiters took forever to get anything. It took 25 minutes to get our waters AFTER we ordered. Second off, a couple of people in our party ordered the skirt steak and while we were told they didnt have the potato wedges, we were assured that the french fries would be a good substitute. The food arrived, after 45 minutes, and the steaks AND the fries that went with them were cold. They had the feeling that they had been under heated lamp for awhile. And our pizza, which was a simple pepperoni pizza, was not nearly as hot as the cheesy bread that we ordered for an appetizer. The waiter came by and asked how it was. it solicited a "alright and a ehhh ". After probing, he said "sorry about that" and got very defensive. He brought the manager. The manager came by and started explaining that we got the last two steaks, which had no relevance, and then said he would comp us the cost of the steaks. The long wait time for everything, the cold food.... Come on guys, get this stuff right.

On Saturday March 11,2017 my family choose the Rock Federalway to celebrate my cousins Birthday everything was okay because we understand they were busy. My cousin bought her boyfriend a custom made cake that cost about $150.00 well we ask the waiter to bring out the cake. It took the Manager another 20min to come out and say the cake got ruined! When he finally brought out the cake it looked as if one of there workers had wiped the portrait of the three men off the cake. Like someone being spiteful because we were black destroyed our cake and ruined our whole Birthday celebration. It made us feels so bad we just got up and left we didnt even take the cake it was so hurtful to us. I would never go back there again its 2017 and racism still exist. This was something that free food and drinks couldnt fix how dare you treat someones property like that. They cannot say they did not know it was a cake because the box was clearly marked this was just so unexceptable on so many levels.

I ordered a veggie pizza with chicken the same I would have ordered from Round Table Pizza. What I received was far from a veggie pizza and the server asked the cooks, "Wheres the chicken." She couldnt see it and nor could I. I didnt want my food tampered with so I kept the pizza. I went home just a shirt distance away from this restaurant and I looked at the pizza and I only saw raw onions, raw bell pepers, a small amount of red aauce and a few pieces of chicken. I tried the pizza and it was tasteless and not worth my $26. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant to anyone I knew and I know that I will never return. I noticed my cook drinking alcohol while making pizzas, he showed his cup to his other three co-workers. I found this to be unprofessional. I also noticed that there was 4 pizza workers yet not one was wearing gloves. I saw two of the pizza workers come into the area without washing their hands.

Ordered delivery pizza from this place to a hotel less than 3 miles away and less than 10 minutes away. We were told it would be 30 minutes and after 45 minutes we were told the driver couldnt find us. They called several times for the address and location of the hotel, and we gave it to them each time. Then after an hour we called to talk to a manager about the situation, because by this point the pizza would be cold, after arguing for a bit with the manager put us on hold for over 20 minutes. Finally the delivery guy came with the pizza which at this point we felt bad for the delivery guy. After an hour and a half of wait time, one hour over the time they told us, we were refusing to pay.... But we took the pizza anyway and it was actually good but the nightmare of a service is hard to ignore. What manager of a respectable business puts a customer on hold for over 20 minutes.

Only one star because I cant give 0. We called in to get a reservation for our large (6+) party, and was told they were booked solid. OK, lets just do a to-go order. After being transferred and waiting, we were told they could get us in with two back to back booths if we could come in now. We gave a party name, and headed in. We were greeted with being told wed have to wait 2.5 hours for a table. Not ok at all. Manager eventually says hell get us in, but itll be about 15 minutes. Ok, thats not insane.. 60 minutes later, we left. They jerked us around. Frankly, quality has been very spotty lately for us(for the price, you wouldnt expect Dominoes to put more cheese on their pizza but they do), and with this last horrible experience I cant recommend going to this Rock. The past two years they have been on a decline. Try the one in Tacoma or Lynnwood.

I saw the 3 star average for this place and was quite surprised, as my rather picky wife and I love this place. Whats NOT to like? Well, if you dont enjoy rock music, a vibrant atmosphere, waiting in line for 15+ minutes for a table on weekends, I suppose you might not enjoy this approach to pizza. But we love it. Theres a bar for those who enjoy a few drinks with dinner, lots of seating and a fun atmosphere like no other. It is a bit loud and very hectic inside, so if youre in the mood for quiet and romantic, this isnt the place. The food is very tasty, the pizza much like that I had in Milan, Italy, (authentic) and the staff works hard to keep you happy. The one time we had a not-so great experience there, we got a free meal. We look forward to The Rock when were up for an energetic evening out.
