I was trying to give this location a chance since its closer to my house than the one in Woodbridge, but after about three or four visits, Ill drive a few extra minutes to Woodbridge. During one of my visits, as I was waiting for my food, I noticed the girl who was supposed to be bringing us our food walk past the counter where the food is to be picked up by the staff SEVERAL times. Our food was sitting there, and she kept walking by it or picking up other orders and bringing it to other customers. Finally, after about 15 or 20 minutes, I simply walked over and picked up my own food. That couldve been a miscommunication between her and the staff behind the counter - I dont know, but if youre responsible for bringing customers their order then maybe you should inquire, especially if the food has been sitting there for a while. During all of my visits, I noticed that the floors are filthy, there are always stacks of dishes on top of the trash (almost to the point where you cant fit any more), and the tables are never wiped down. I had to wipe down my own table before we sat down the last two times we were there. I also noticed that the person who was supposed to be cleaning, was eating from an open bag of chips located underneath the area where food for customers are picked up and where there are a bunch of to-go containers. She kept walking by and eating from that bag. There was a drink waiting for her in that area too. The staff are not that friendly as compared to the staff in Woodbridge. Last time I went to the Woodbridge location, a young kid (probably in high school or college) was the absolute sweetest when interacting with us. He took our order, and then later I saw him cleaning up and he just seemed so thoughtful when interacting with the customers. The staff at Clark are on the other side of the spectrum. Theyre not very friendly. Theyre not quick. Finally - the last time I went, the bread tasted stale! I mean, thats why people go to Panera - for the delicious bread! If its less than fresh, then I dont want it. Too bad since this one is in the same center as Whole Foods and were there a lot. P.S. I visited this location after work hours around 6-7pm on weeknights so the staff may be completely different on weekends/during the day.

Clark location needs to train its people better or get better management. Ive gone there multiple times because of its proximity to my house but itll be worth the drive to go elsewhere...I recently ordered a salad and sandwich...the sandwich was a mess, bread was smushed and cut so half barley had enough to hold the sandwich properly and the salad spilled out of the box and ended up half in the bag and this isnt the first time Ive had problems with them. They always forget the sides that come with the meals , sandwiches not wrapped properly and basically just sitting in the bag so they go all over the place. Another time that I ordered and paid for a full sandwich and only received a half. I dont usually bother to leave reviews but for this location Ill make an exception. Go to the Panera at Menlo Park mall the staff there is friendly and they actually know what theyre doing.

Used this location for a catering order. The catering department could be better. I placed my order online a good 5 days in advance. Normally Panera sends a confirmation the day before to remind you. Did not receive one from this location so I had to call. The phone rings at least 20 times before someone answers. At delivery time, the delivery person was in such a hurry that he literally threw the food on the table and was out the door before I could review the order. Turns out they were missing all of the condiments for the sandwiches and 5 bags of chips. I called (the phone rang 20 times, disconnected, I had to call again) and the driver was sent back to me with the missing items. This experience is not the top notch catering service I expect from Panera (I use them exclusively for business meetings). So, I wont be using this location again.

Terrible customer service. They dont care about the customer. I orders rapid order and was told I needed to go to the register and get my soufflé. Why did I bother ordering if I had to wait for it to be packaged anyway. Not a time saver. Another time I ordered a smoothie and a coffee at 7:30am. The place was empty and I was the only one in the drive thru. She took my money then after 7 mins I tapped my horn to get her attention as she and 3 other employees, including the manager were laughing and carrying on . She was very annoyed when she came to the window and told me that the smoothie was being made. I had to wait another 8 or so minutes until I got my smoothie and coffee. What is the sense of a drive thru if you sit in the drive thru for 15 minutes to get a simple order???

I honestly cant believe how you rip people off and stay in business. I picked up a Thai chicken salad at your drive through today and to say there was barely any chicken in the salad is an understatement.!!! There were literally 4 pieces of chicken in a $10 salad. Your company should be ashamed to even sell this as an entree and charge that much!! I have pictures of the salad and am trying to post it to so other people can see what you are giving for thar amount you charge - and keep them from making the same mistake I did by going to Panera to begin with. The only reason I didnt go back and get my money back is because I was in a rush, needed to eat and get to the rest of my errands for the day.

This Panera bread never has the bread bowls! If a bread bowl is what you want just make the drive to Westfield or rt22. They have also messed up my order a few times and not given me a bread bowl after they said they had it and I paid for it via the drive through. I mean I love Panera and they have great food, but at this one 60% of the time they seem to have a problem with my order. If you are going to go here remember to talk slow dont order the pick two just get one thing and remind them what what you want for your side. If you dont you could get any one of the random bread, apple or chips they dont care its not their order. Trust me they often forget to ask even though its part of their job.

I visit this Panera frequently (3-4X/wk) and I have found the staff to be very helpful, the service attentive (serving and clearing dishes), and the cafe clean. I usually use the online "order from the table" and have had few issues. When there has been an error, they are always quick to fix it an apologize for the mistake. Not sure about the complaints I read here... I have not had a single bad interaction with a manager (and I have gotten to know them all by name). I use this location as my "home office" and have found it to be the best Panera so far.
