Reviews like this are too arbitrary to make an actual recollection of quality of the food, environment, or service. Not to mention the perspective of each individual whom might write said review are drastically different based on a myriad of factors. For example, the same person can write a review for a certain restaurant twice. In scenario one he or she has had a fantastic day and is in a happy mood so the food they eat and the experience to them is subjectively nice and so a good review is written. Same person, same place, even exact same meal, but the person happens to be in a sour mood, the review will reflect that and they will be more likely to write a bad review. But anyway I personally like this place because of the great variety of food and cheap lunch prices and would recommend it to others.

My expectations when walking in to any restaurant with the word buffet in the description are drastically reduced as I walk through the door. This restaurant didnt disappoint... My lower expectations were warranted. While the traditional fare usually associated with these places was passable, a couple even well above par(the Mongolian pork was probably my favorite). Their seafood on the weekends left something to be desired, the crab was laughable at size and flavor, the clams fishy, the salt and pepper shrimp were decent...Even good...The fish looked as though it was stewed in whatever sauce the decided to slap in the pan. So for the extra price on the weekend for what they thought was seafood is no where near where any self respecting northwesterner would pay extra for

Most of the items are good and authentic. There are a lot of variety and the ice cream selection is decent. They have a sushi bar but I didnt try any. Bonus points goes to this restaurant for having a hand wash station near the sitting tables, the first Ive experience in a buffet. The owners must have copied this concept from restaurants in China. Because you pay first then eat, drinks are included with the price. So you could include your tip at payment, if you incline to do so. I am giving this buffet 4 stars because atmosphere and restrooms are clean, and the bus girls worked really hard and fast to clear your table. Note: It is crowded at Sundays noon time, most likely due to church goers after mass.

In short, a little pricey, lots of decent food, plenty of options, good rotation, will probably eat here again. The building is really neat, I wonder what it was before it was Vstar. At $18.64 it is definitely the most expensive buffet Ive been to. The food was average and in copious quantities. I was trying a little of everything that looked good and was fairly satisfied with the tastes. The staff was very on top of the food rotation and keeping it fresh which I was happy to see. I was impressed to see they have a man keeping a close eye on the sushi bar, as with any buffet though, I dont trust it. One thing I missed, no general Tsaos chicken, but the Indian chicken was pretty good.

I went there about a month ago and it was quite busy, being a holiday. Plenty of selection... some good some not so good, but with that many selection, you can choose what you want thats good.... I liked the rice/noodles/beef/broccoli. The fresh stir fry was okay. Soda is free (included with your meal price), but its best not to get too much soda or youll fill up and not have room left for the actual food. Lots of dessert, fruits, cookies, sushi (not so good). Ice cream was okay, but in general this place is usually pretty busy in the evening time. Price was fair for lunch. Staff was okay. Overall, its okay to come here once-in-awhile...

We used to come to this Buffet quite often. Pretty decent selection. Lots of seating and they are always busy. Normally we go on the weekends but my husband and I decided to stop in for lunch during the week last week. They have no shellfish or seafood selections during the week. And all of the food was cold. When I say all I mean all even the rice out of the rice cooker was cold. We had food from several different Islands and none of it was a decent temperature. We were very disappointed. Think well stick to the one in Marysville from here on out.

We went about an hour and a half before they closed and their soda machines were out of flavoring, leaving only carbonated water. They werent restocking any food, so choices were slim and most of the food was cold, hard and/or tasted like it had been out for way to long, not one staff member said one word to us as they were literally sweeping at our feet. Then as we were eating, they began vacuuming right next to our table. We used to really love this place and go here quite often but I think after tonight we wont be going back.

I have only been here at lunch times but always enjoy the experience. The quality is not great of course since it is a buffet but the selection is huge and you can choose how healthy or unhealthy you want to be. They have everything from lousy pizza and fries to delicious salmon and sushi. You can even get a stir fry kind of thing cooked for you with exactly what you want in it! If you find the food too greasy just try a different area and they likely have something you would enjoy.

Mediocre at best. Too much food sitting out. No heatlamps so the food without sauce doesnt stay hot. Definitly a heath code violation. Ice cream was the best part. Sushi was tough and stringy while the hot and sour tasted like thickened dirty dish water. 35 for two people can buy a wonderful steak dinner at home. Instead, I had mushy shrimp and stale flavorless crab. Thats another thing, the food was lacking in salt and the taste of the wok. There has to be better in Everett.

No matter where we go, my wife and I always compare other dining establishments to Lucky Buffet. We just got back from Nampa where we ate at a local Chinese Buffet. Of course it could not compare to Lucky Buffet with its huge selection of food and great food quality. Lucky Buffet is by far the best dining value and has the best taste when it comes to a Chinese Style Buffet. My favorite is the cocktail shrimp and oysters of the half shell served at dinner. Soup was warm, but that was it. Shrimp hard, cold very little sauce, green beans cold, everything was cold. Eat very little for 12 bucks. Hey but the soda and ice were actually cold, very disappointed. Last time there. Use to love the place, yes they had very good food and nice and hot, not today nor the last 2 times I was there. Save your money. And no I didnt ask for a refund, just left a full pate of cold food. I wish I had a pen on hand!!!!
