We came to Seattle on vacation from Utah and there was seven of us. We were hoping for some good seafood. But we arrived about 35 minutes before it was going to close. The hostess that was going to Seat us was more than polite and welcoming even though she knew that they may be working late till we finished our food. I believe her name was Christina and she even asked us what our favorite food was and went back and asked the chef if we had enough to put on the buffet for us before she seated us. She wanted to make sure that we would be happy with the food selection before we even sat down! The waitress whose name I believe was Jessica not only gave us fantastic service but she also asked to two or three times if the selection that we were provided was what we desired and if there is anything they could get us that was not there she would be glad to go ask chefs for . We did quickly eat our food but we left about 30 minutes after it closed and yet everyone gave us smiles, told us to take our time and really made us feel welcome even though we were obviously inconveniencing them. The tables were clean the food was great and the entire experience was wonderful for all seven of us. Thank you so very much for your excellent service for your kind words and for truly loving your customers and appreciating them. I am sure we will all definitely come back next time we vacationed there again. Thumbs up all the way!

My ol b-day standby Redmond Todai is closed ,I didnt want to brave Seattle traffic and parking extortion to visit the other Todai for my friends B-day dinner. So we decided on a 1st visit to Blue Fin . We arrived early and got to work. Being from Hawaii we attacked the raw fish ,In my opinion this is the only way to get your moneys worth for Dinner prices . They had more than enough so we didnt have to wait for them to make more, which Todai is guilty of. The Sashimi is good . I pass on the sushi . The cubed Ahi resembles a minimal Hawaiian Poke and is recommended in heaps . When we go to buffets we dont expect customer service but the workers were always there for drink/water and to clear the last licked clean plates . The place is kept clean and the food fresh and appetizing to the eye nose and mouth. I like that they have some seating partitions to give a bit of privacy ,something else Redmond Todai didnt have . Yes , For 3 of us the bill was nearly 100 bucks so for an unemployed bachelor like me its a total annual $plurge fest at around 25 per person . If you live on the East or North side try BlueFin rather than trudge to Seattle Todai. At Northgate mall at least the Parking is FREE and easy.

I had went there on my birthday not to long ago (June 11) and I have to say they do have a wide variety of food. But that doesnt mean that it was all quality. For starters, some of the sushi was OK and some were down-right terrible what they all shared in common though was the temperature which was (as you may have heard) lukewarm. Who eats lukewarm sushi? And the raw sushi was also warm and didnt look fresh. The desserts were horrid PARTICULARLY the cream puffs which were very warm and were wrapped in broken puff pastry, and filled with whipped cream instead of ice cream which is by far better. The creme brulee was okay not at all restaurant quality though. Everything else was either very good or good and there dumplings were good and they had a variety of sauces and a couple of different salads, that really I think would appeal to all people. (even salad haters) The bathrooms are very elegant and are in the bottom floor. This is long but ITS AN OPINION WORTH READING.

I do not like to give anyone one star. was there yesterday 11/22/14. the place waz busy so figured must not be to bad, wow was I wrong. was there for hour. never did refill orange chicken, Terriaki when they did refill it was one piece of chicken. all over food was only a 1/4 full and tasted like frozen food. the sushi they had one kinda roll all other was empty. now to the nigiri I got one piece of Albacore the whole hour we were there all other was completely empty. I did notice they set out some Salmon (4 pieces) well one guy took all those. well after a hour and $42.00 later. loged a complaint well both people at the front walked away as i was talking. i would advise everyone to stay away from this place. way over priced for the horrible food it is.

This is probably my favorite asian buffet, mainly because the food quality and the variety of food options. The place has korean, Chinese, and Japanese food options. My favorite things to eat there is the Kalbi short ribs, the seaweed salad, jap chae (Korean stir fried noodles), ahi poke, and sushi. The Kalbi short ribs are hands down my favorite. I typically have a full plate worth. A meal wouldnt be complete without dessert. They have a pretty good variety of bite size desserts, but the soft serve ice cream hit the spot. It was rich and creamy and left me satisfied with my dinner. Forgot to take pictures, but next time I go back I will add some.

The food is buffet style and some good selections but most of it run of the mill. They said to come back for my birthday and eat free. At my birthday, my wife and I went there only to find out that your birthday meal is free only if you have three other paying adults. This is type of BS that suckers people in but in my case will stop me from ever returning. The personnel treated me like I was some kind of fool thinking that I was going to get a free meal. That was the last straw. Had they been up front before about needing three paying adults, no problem. The food maybe ok but the service stinks and the arrogance has pushed our business away.

I went there today and loved it. Dinner is about $30 a person, super busy but they still sat us immediately, very friendly. I only docked it one star because the tongs for the sushi were dirty, the signs for the sushi were kinda vague and not always accurate, when I asked the guy doing the sushi what was in some things he couldnt tell me and acted like I was waisting his time asking stupid questions, and even though I do think the food was great, it was over priced. That being said, I will be going back for special occasions.

sushi was just plain disappointing. Simple pieces using the cheapest ingredients and slathered with sauces. The buffet food was lukewarm and rarely put out fresh. The pot stickers were almost room temp and extremely greasy. About the only thing I liked was the chow mien. On top of all this, they charge $17 for lunch, a price that in Reno will get you fresh made, exquisitely crafted, all-you-can-eat, high grade ingredients sushi. This place should be be $10 tops. And even then, I wouldnt like it.
