They treat me like family here, and I love the food. Its very mom and pop and hole in the wall, like many places in the ID and little Saigon. Its run by some very sweet, kind people. Some people have raised concerns about the hot holding, Id say 90% of the time its done properly on the buffet/deli, and mostly is ok. Some friends have had digestive complaints: Im not sure if thats due to the richness/saltines of the food or something else—I do feel a bit dehydrated if I eat lots from the buffet, so thats my guess. Some of the items are very salty and some are very oily. If youre wary of any of that, try the sandwiches or soup and or fresh-made items, and theres also bubble tea! Those havent given me any trouble. If youre vegan or vegetarian, rest assured that they have veganized everything and do take that seriously. If you ever have a problem or question, Tanya will be receptive to respectful conversation about it. I think she sincerely wants to make things right if theres a problem.

This place is fantastic, the owner is like the Tofu Whisperer-- she really works magic with tofu and renders it into amazing forms with creativity and culinary genius. Theres faux pork belly made with tofu, with coconut milk as the fatty part. Even if youre not a vegan or tofu lover (and I dont really like tofu actually, Im ambivalent-- but I LOVED what I ate there), youll be pleasantly surprised by the food. Its flavorful and hearty, and doesnt taste like a veggie imitation or substitute for meat. Vegetarians who like faux meat and those who are more veggie centric will both find something they love. My favorite dishes are the ones with the jackfruit. Wish this place got more press-- its nothing short of amazing!! PS-- Tried fresh soymilk there for the first time. Its super light and earthy tasting-- nothing compared to the packaged shelf stuff at Whole Foods.

Take all the positive comments, wrap them up, and thats most of my review. Ill also add that Ive never had any digestive problems eating both the buffet and take out here. For me thats unusual. I especially recommend their fresh rolls, they have at least three kinds. The only downsides: While better than it used to be, the neighborhood is not that great. At night, use their (small but nice) parking lot if you have any goodies in your car. Youre probably not going to impress a first date with how the place looks. English can be a weak point, there always seems to be someone who speaks it in charge but... It ranges from pretty good (owner I think) to really basic answers only. If you have allergies, I suggest having a picture of what you are allergic to.

A delicious little hidden gem! A friend and I wandered up to this place in between the Bolt Bus and the train to SeaTac and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious tofu bahn mi and cheap prices. Its a short walk up from where the Bolt Bus drops off, making it perfect for grabbing a quick snack. The staff doesnt all speak English, so be flexible - I asked for no cilantro and someone even came out of the kitchen to confirm, but our two sandwiches were identical. Fortunately they leave the stems whole, so it was easy to pick off. They also have a tasty and mysterious-looking buffet with interesting fake meat options that I would like to try when I have more time. Generous portions and smiles all around. I will definitely go back.

This is my favorite restaurant. The all you can eat buffet has some of the most amazingly delicious foods I have ever tasted, the people who work there are friendly, and the prices are low. The first time I went there, I was given free freshly made soy milk along with my meal, which was excellent. I especially like the tofu dish with the pickled cabbage in it, and the chewy little bite-sized bits that are wrapped in seaweed. The vegan lobster is just incredibly good, although it isnt included in the buffet and must be ordered separately. My husband loves the pho, which has several types of vegan "meat" in it. I have never had anything there that I didnt enjoy.

I accidently wandered in here shortly after I went vegan, the big sign saying Tofu, drew me in. I cant remember if I met Vivian or Tanya first to be honest, but they were so extremely friendly, I was very apprehensive at first because of the signs saying pork and beef, I had no idea that this was even a vegan establishment, boy was in for a surprise. I have to say my first experience at a vegan restraunt was one of the most ingratiating experiences of my life. I can truly say that this is quite definately my favorite restraunt on Planet Earth to date.

Now a personal favorite of mine for Vietnamese food, I originally came here at the advice of a coworker. The place itself is literally two rooms: dining room and kitchen/buffet/checkout room. But every time I go, Sonia welcomes me in and asks me how Im doing. She has offered me buffet samples and to grab a plate while I wait for my to go order. I would highly recommend doing the buffet because of so many delicious plates that are all vegetarian. The banh mi I have had have always been amazing, and for the price I am more than satisfied.

I went in to eat at their buffet and couldnt have been more impressed. Delicious options and I wanted to just keep eating. I also tried the banana pudding (a unique twist on this dessert) and a taro root bubble tea (more a smoothie, not too sweet and delicious). They also offered black rice on their buffet! An unexpected treat for fast food chinese. I also cannot speak highly enough of the staff. They take excellent care of you. I am only disappointed I dont live locally so I will not get to have their food more often.

We were greeted very warmly and welcomed in during the lunch rush. It was our first time and decided on the buffet. The food didnt disappoint! It was vegan Asian comfort food. Our main server, Vivian, had to be one of the loveliest people I have ever met. It felt like coming home. The food is sitting out buffet style with the door open. I love hole in the wall places so it didnt bother me but I can see how some would find it off putting. Take the chance, it was a great experience!

I love love love this place. I didnt even realize it was vegan until my 3rd visit. The best Bahn Mi I have found in Seattle and the $10 buffet cannot be beat. Every dish is so unique in flavor and texture despite being vegan. The owner and staff are always super nice to me and my friends. Never have had problems parking in front. Come here for cheap & amazing Vietnamese flavors and please dont spoil it!

Im not even a vegetarian and I loved this place!! Took my wife here because she is vegetarian and what an awesome find! The sandwiches are $3 and $3.50 and are just as good as or better than the ones you will pay $10 for in the city. Not to mention the ppl working here are super helpful and friendly and didnt mind explaining what everything was to us. We loved it and will be back soon!!
