This was without a doubt, the worst food I have eaten at a "restaurant" in my entire life. We also had to actually go up to the waitress at her station and ask for water and tea because the drink machine is not accessible to customers nor did they offer us any drinks. When I told the manager I was leaving and refused to to pay for our 2 FULL plates of un-eaten food (for the first time in my life) after about 15 minutes of arriving, getting "served" and getting our buffet food, the manager followed my friend and I outside of the restaurant, arguing with us about how we had "waited too long" to return the food, were "wasting their food" and it just "didnt make sense" that we would leave now and not pay for it and we were required to pay for it. We eventually went in to pay our agreed upon, discounted price just to leave without causing a further scene and because I was scared he would call the cops / report my license plate for stealing (thats what kind of person he seemed like). They tried to charge us $42.00 for 2 people at the buffet. The manager then finally gave us the discounted price while continuing to argue with us about the situation even after we had given him money. Simply the worst dining experience I have ever had, I will never go back here--and yes, I have worked in food service myself and it would have been absolutely unacceptable to treat customers this way if I was working. I got very sick from the food later.

We were visiting (from the DC area) and didnt know local restaurants. The online reviews for Super China Buffet looked good, so we went for a Christmas Day dinner, and we sure are glad we did. The variety of foods was tremendous and ranged from the very authentic and/or hard-to-find Chinese dishes to the more Americanized. Highlights for me were shrimp cooked at least seven different ways (steamed; deep-fried butterfly; popcorn; pepper; stir-fried in white sauce; nigiri; Mongolian grill), crab (steamed Dungeness; stir-fried in ginger-and-scallion sauce; steamed King crab legs), deep-fried scallops, Popeyes-like (!) fried chicken wings, steamed taro buns, steamed custard buns, pan-fried chive boxes made delicate and small, and -- the most amazing thing to me -- steamed roast-pork buns with the perfect ratio of filling to bun. French fries and fried sugared doughnuts were nice and hot. This place is a very good value because many of the dishes are of high-quality ingredients and well-made. We also lucked out because kids ten and under eat free on Friday night. We loved this place and will return whenever we visit Seattle again!

My wife and I had dinner at The Super China Buffett and were accosted by the waiter for more tips. He actually told us that our tips were insufficient! When we refused his demands... he swore at at us! Calling us "Mother Fs!" His alias American name is Peter. He thought that because we were an older couple that he could be scared into giving him more tips. We complained to the on-duty manager, she was hesitant to admonish the young man. I had to threaten her with calling a Shoreline police officer to the establishment and filing assault complaints for me and my wife. The manager after great tribulation finally agreed to refund the cost of one meal. I thanked her for my wife. I added that this whole situation was intolerable and deplorable. The manager said that the owners name was "Jack" and she would not give a last name, phone number, or address. But I believe that the owners can be traced through the property records at city hall.

Food is good and have variety but my main complaint is that the last 3 times I noticed the tip was already included in our bill , this is not a complete service ! we were not even a party of 6! and we have to get up obviously to get our food , I do believe the tip is according to the quality of service yes 10% or more but we didnt even get water offered again. soooo disrespectful to force the tip on the bill , my husband was so dissapointed just about this fact that he doesnt want to come back.total abuse of the restaurant.close to $95 for 4 adults and 2 little kids (they bearly ate. (lunch time!)

I think its hilarious other reviewers are complaining about the price and quality of the food here, are you expecting a gourmet experience for $8.45? My boyfriend and I happily eat here at least once a week and gorge ourselves on all you can above average sushi, Chinese food including seafood, Mongolian grill, and dessert, for their lunch time price of $8.45. Free tea, fast refills, my only complaint is that its so far away from Seattle and we have to bus an hour to eat here, but I guess that just goes to show how much we like it!

Pretty good Chinese food! You know its legit when elderly Asian couples eat there! The best and only buffet we could find anywhere near Seattle. Not "gross" or "smelly" like people are saying on here. The tip was not added to our dinner bill either like others said. We had great customer service and the food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is average and clean. Everything was great! We will be returning. Definitely try it out if youre considering it— dont let these inaccurate ratings stop you.

Good little chinese place. Good food. They have some American foods fries etc but no where near as good as the chinese food. They also have a grill that customers can choose to take advantage of. You can select from pork beef and chicken amd a bunch of veggies and have it grilled up right infront fo you amd served fresh. They also have a really big selection of seafood. Over all a pretty decent place for all you can eat chinese.

Im not sure if it was just the time of day I came in at (8pm) but most of the food was not even warm. There was a very limited variety of food choices. Seemed like a lot had been sitting for awhile. I noticed some of the fish/crab was slimy. Also, the waitress never came to fill our glasses. The floor under my table was sticky and wet with dirty napkins, very dirty feeling. Overall, I dont think it was worth it for the price

Had dinner with my parents (seniors) and family at this place. Food was greasy and cold. Waitress never came to refill our glasses with water or to clean our table. Senior discount is only $1 dll less($12.99) than regular price ($13.99) and on top of that they force the tip in your bill without telling you. Oh and btw right after eating there everybody got really sick.

The servers are very entitled to tips, dont let them bully you especially if the service was poor and inattentive. My suggestion would be to come here during lunch and get the food to go. Its $3.65 per pound (unless they changed the price) and its quick and easy to get in and out with a proper amount of food. If you like sushi, you can get quite a lot for a pound.
