I had made reservations for my wifes birthday. I let Cantinetta know that this is a special night and wed like a nice table. We showed up at 8:00 and waited 40 minutes to be seated. The hostess said that Cantinetta doesnt have to honor your reservation and she didnt. I asked to speak to the manager. She said he wasnt there and that he would say the exact same thing as she did. The hostess gave us the worse table in the house, right at the front door. I had to wear my coat all through the meal. We asked the hostess for another table and she turned and told me straight up that I could take that table or wait behind all the other people now gathered at the door. Our Waitress on the other hand, was actually very good. Part way through the meal she tried to get us another table. We had gotten up and walked over to the new table and were about to sit down when the hostess ran over and told us that we couldnt have that table. A group of three just walked in and she was giving that table to them. So if you dont mind waiting, bring a heavy coat. The food is good. But if youre planning a dinner for your anniversary, birthday, graduation, or any other special occasion you should find another restaurant. One that honors reservations.

This place was terrible. It would help if cook had ever been to Italy. The lamb dish was beef. No doubt about it, even after the waitress tried to tell us it was lamb cooked differently than were used to. Butternut squash dish would have been decent if they seasoned it. No seasoning in it made it taste like pumpkin that hadnt been seasoned. Have definitely Cooked the same dish better myself, and for A LOT less. The best thing this place served was the Bolognese which isnt saying a whole lot for an Italian place. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone considering the quality of the food, service and the price you pay for the subpar food.

Food was amazing, atmosphere was amazing. Really liked that they made their own pasta. Asked about another customers dish, to see what it was, the waiter said it wasnt for us and walked away... Not sure what that was about, but other than that it was great. Turns out the dish we were asking about, was donuts filled with nutella. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!!! They were fantastic!

The crudo appetizer was outstanding, while the watermelon with olive oil and pepper was underwhelming, particularly for its price point. Tomato farfalle with rabbit sausage was delicious, and the olive oil cake and ice cream was a nice finish. Service was attentive, though the humidity in the restaurant detracted from an otherwise very pleasant experience.

Rude rude rude rude staff. Think they are so cool but really just ignorant fools who have never been to Italy. Food was mediocre...frozen, pre-made. Cuts of meat were substandard. There is a difference between sublime confidence and obtuse arrogance and the people here fall into the latter. This place wont last but I would give it a miss in the meantime

Feeling like pampering yourself with some delicious Tuscan flavor and atmosphere? This is the place! Its hip and comfortable, and I felt like I was in a modern Italian bistro. The food is absolutely delectable! A bit on the pricey side, but hey its a great experience, and a perfect date night spot! Check it out!

Great restaurant combining Japanese with fine French for an amazing special meal. Go hungry as the 11 servings although small bites are rich and full of flavor explosions. A good value for this category of dining. Comparable to French Laundry and others in this tier...

I.ordered a salad which tastes far less than good, and a ravioli which is less Italian than the pasta in Olive Garden. The decoration and service is goad, but the food, unfortunately, is not.

Bad parking, rude service and the food was sub par for the price. The cuts of meats are cheap, but prices are high. All cuts seemed tough, noone in our group of 5 liked thier meal

We love this place. We enjoyed heirloom tomato antipasti. Fresh mozzarella - the best you have ever had. I love see food. So octopus is also a favorite choice
