I was brought a menu and was served water ONCE and thats it! .... The waiter Sharif came over and took my meal order. He did not ask if I wanted anything to drink. He took the order and left. I sent back the Tilapia to take off the yellow sauce that covered a very small piece of fish and by the time the fish came out again, I had finished the vegetables. I said they could take the yellow sauce off or just bring it back. I waited, the waiter did not come back and let me know they were making 2 other small pieces of fish. The chef was quick and got it out in about 5 minutes but I didnt know what was going on. I was there for about 45 minutes. Drank my water and no one ever came to refill the glass. The waiter came by and put down a crumpled bill and asked if there was anything else. I wanted a coffee, but decided I could get better service somewhere else or at home! They had about 20 people in the place and it was dinnertime on a Friday night 5:45 PM. Does it tell you something?? Food is over priced, service of one person is POOR, menu is a book which I was not going to read. The smaller portion 4-6 menu had 5 out of 6 pasta dishes. They gave about 2 cups of mashed potatoes, 1/2 cup pickled beets (they were good), and a rather large salad. Oh yes, they sent a dirty steak knife with the fish (and I am glad I didnt have to use it). I noted that to the cleanup person who just shrugged. They need Restaurant Impossible to come in and fix up the menu and fire the waiter that doesnt care. Sharif was busy watching Channel 12 news and checking out his cell phone. I will never go back and do NOT recommend the Andros Diner.

I live very close to this drinner so i go there often with friends and family, generally the service is good, pretty good atmosphere but the food lacks for sure... Do not go there unless you plan to have omelets or pancakes etc ( which are pretty good), some of the dishes like the stakes are terrible, no taste, greasy, and come way to under cooked or overly cooked. They offerd no options to compensate over theyre clearly poor dish. Though, i did not expect to be serverd a steak house worthy steak but i sertainly expected a dish that was worthy of the 20 dollars i spent! Even though this place has been open for quite sometime, it still needs some much needed improvemnt

Came here for my birthday, wasnt too crowded but alas, terrible service, took forever to get assistance, order took 30 minutes for appetizers to arrive, components to dishes were missing, our server had the mental capacity of a 8 year old, food was cold, still didnt get any water, drinks were diluted, etiquette was lacking. Very disappointed.

Disappointingly this late night Monday stop did not meet previous standards. Even though it was crowded with about 50 people, food and coffee were barely warm, and service was weak where I sat. Management didnt even ask how everything was.

Ate here as a kid and as an adult....still find this to be one of the best diners Ive been to. Service is excellent, food is amazing. Quick tip: park across the street and walk over because there is no parking during busy hours.

Absolutely DELICIOUS Grilled Chicken Penne dish YUM YUM! Fast and very friendly service...the chicken nachos=EH! I was expecting real shredded cheese and it was spray cheese on it! IK! But other than that great place to eat!

The breakfast food was good. The price was in line with what you would expect at a diner and the service was friendly. Since it is open 24 hours, it is a good spot for late night eating in the Fairfield/Bridgeport area.

My family and I used to frequent Andros, but once the Circle Diner opened in the center of Fairfield, we were hooked on Circle. The difference is NIGHT and DAY. There is NO comparison. Try it and find out for yourself.

Decent but inconsistent food more than made up for by an efficient and cheerful waitress. There were high points and no real low points. Excellent Wi-Fi and a bright well lit interior were a plus.

The food is excellent. Good quality and everything fresh. My order was eggs with ham. The amount of ham was very generous! Thick almost like a steak! And the home fries well cooked and very tasty.

Andros is the best diner in Fairfield, IMO. Very friendly staff, pleasant vibe, and excellent food. The only downside is the small parking lot. This is a regular stop for me. Cant miss.
