First-timer and I will not be back. 1) The food was a major letdown. My wife and I each ordered the same special: pasta in a cream sauce with prawns, mussels and salmon. The sauce tasted like it was made from a box. There were only four shrimp (not prawns) and four mussels and the mussels were way undercooked. There was no salmon in it that I could detect. I also ordered a pizza as an appetizer and so I could have some leftovers. It was bland, soggy and sad. 2) Understaffed It took over five minutes to get seated because even though the place was almost empty, they had no greeter person. The single chef got backed up and it took about 50 minutes to get any food. Our waiter was very nice but the wait staff was clearly understaffed and were talking about orders and tables out by the tables out of necessity from being so understaffed but this is something you should never hear or see as a customer. 3) Price/Value not there. At all. The specials ended up being 28 bucks each. 28 bucks for four borderline raw mussels, 4 chewy flavorless shrimp (not prawns) and no salmon sitting in a pasta drowned in a sauce that tasted like it was from a box that came after almost an hours wait. The pizza was another 17 dollars of disappointment. They comped our drinks but even still it was $85 bucks for two people. This is ludicrous for what it was.

We really wanted to like this place after all the great things we had heard about it. There were a good number of people there, but not an unusual amount for a Saturday night. Once we sat down we were given some glasses of water and a small plate of bread with garlic butter dipping sauce. I ordered the salmon picatta, my boyfriend the spaghetti carbonara. After 30 minutes of waiting, our waiter apologized for the wait and proceeded to tell me they had just ran out of salmon and asked if I would take halibut instead. Not a problem, I happen to like halibut. We continued to wait an additional 30 minutes (1 hour total) until our food arrived. Mind you, not once was our water refilled during this time. I had ordered a side of veggies with my fish, but ended up getting a side of pasta by mistake. When they finally brought out the side of veggies I was supposed to receive, they werent even the veggies that are supposed to come with the dish. On top of that, my halibut was dry. I will say the spaghetti carbonara was pretty good but could have at least came with a side or something. With such small portions of food with minimal ingredients I dont understand why it took an hour to bring us our food. Im hoping this restaurant was just having a bad day but I cant say its worth coming back.

We wished would have really enjoyed this place. We are always looking for great itallian that we do not have to make ourselves or drive to Seattle for. This will NOT be one of our go to places. Our waiter was not friendly. He was acutally rather off putting. While my hubs was on the restroom he came to the table I tried to ask a question and he ignored my question and said "Ill be back to tell you the specials when everyone is seated." I ordered a glass of pinot gri and it tasted old. He was not very friendly about it but took it back. The salads were good, the ceasar was a little light on dressing and seasoning, but ok. The bread was fantastic... Our pasta came and it was awful. The spoon the server gave me looked dirty, instead of just getting a new one he used his finger to rub it, which had like cheese on it and it was really gross. First the pesto was very oily and the noodles were very over cooked, like they were mushy. My hubs ordered the carbanara which was oddly smokie like almost liquid smoke flavored. The noodles were way over cooked. It was so awful. The waiter was not friendly the food was questionable. So sad!!

The food was great. However, the waiter made it very uncomfortable for me in front of the entire group of people I was with because I didnt order alcohol. Also, he told me they made their tirimisu in house, which isnt correct. They serve the same tirimisu as Olive Garden and Mama Stortinis, it is bought. And it was hard to get a soft drink refill. Other than that, he was amazing. I just called the manager, San Tiago, for the second time to let him know of my experience. The gentleman who answered the phone, actually carried the phone into the manager and said aloud, "theres someone who wants to speak with you," then the gentleman who had the phone said to me, "I thought he was in, but hes not, hes not available." He lied! A second lie! And the manager has no idea who I am and why Im calling. Its 11:00am he should have time to talk. I will NEVER go into this restaurant again. I will never take my group into this restaurant again, it wasnt THAT good. And there are plenty of other places that are great. Poor, poor management!

I have mixed feelings about this place. Each time I visit the food is amazing. But the service falls short. My most recent visit, started great. Then we were left unattended several times. Even when waiting for the check it took several attempts to get the check, or a to-go box, which we finally got from the buyer, not the waiter. Then when the bill came I had a promotion item to take advantage of and the waiter fought me on the terms. It CLEARLY indicated that I would get an ENTREE free. But he removed the appetizer. Arguing "its like an entrée". Then it should be under entrées not appetizers. It was eventually corrected, but there was also a concern on why my house prosecco was range up as a red wine. Im sure I was overcharged, but after the initial argument I didnt want to battle further.

Went for dinner Saturday night. Only half full which was nice for noise level. Service was friendly but inconsistent, meaning our waiter appeared and then did a disappearing act for 10 minutes while we got "situated". We almost situated ourselves elsewhere. Calamari (fried) as a starter came out fast but was undercooked and had a bad oil taste. Burnt bread was offered with great olive oil. Too bad! Entree was much better-had the smoked salmon farfelle. Linguini with clams was very dry. Limoncello flute for dessert was tasty but obscenely overpriced! Overall we had a nice time, but room for improvement.

Got off to a rough start. I was seated right away but couldnt tell who my waiter was. I had to flag down a waiter and ask to order. I got a chopped salad which was tasty but light on toppings and dressing. I added a lot of balsamic vinegar to it. I had chicken marsala with roasted veggies and it was delicious and the chicken was tender. By the time I left the staff was chatting with me and very friendly. A little pricey but good. I liked the atmosphere and may give it another try.

The food was amazing!! The server John was weird. He kept telling me that i was ordering too much food. Me being the foodie i am felt offended by his comments. I enjoyed the meat and cheese platter, I enjoyed the complimentary bread and herb olive oil, Margarita pizza, salmon bow tie pasta (fantastic smokey flavor the salmon gave to the dish was divine! And the sweetness from the peas, heaven in my mouth!!) Overall great place to get great italian food!
