The food was...sort of edible. Stunningly subpar, and expensive to boot (for food that unimpressive). Somehow my husband and I had a $60 check for 2 beers, 2 entrees, and 2 appetizers (mozzarella sticks and french fries) that were about as appealing and maybe as high-quality as a microwave frozen dinner. We chose this spot because it had so many gluten-free options as well as a number of decent-looking vegetarian options (I have a lot of food allergies, and my husband is veg). Dont let that fool you: they may be able to accommodate your food sensitivities, but not with anything worth consuming. It was like insult to injury after each item arrived: Apps: mediocre to disappointing. Entrees: Um...its food, I guess, so thats sort of tolerable? I didnt even bother eating the "seasonal vegetables" side that Im assuming was just microwaved from a bag of frozen veggies. And seriously, how do you screw up french fries? And then the check: ...?!? This disappointment of a meal cost HOW MUCH?!? And were used to DC prices--but at least wed be eating well for paying that much in our DC spots. All in all, woefully disappointing waste of time and money. The atmosphere just feels like a generic, long-overdue-for-a-remodel version of a Ruby Tuesday or Red Robin. If, like for us, your gut reaction walking in is skeptical, trust me, its accurate. Find another place to spend your money.

My wife and I were extremely disappointed in our experience. Once we were seated, the waitress came over almost immediately and asked if we were ready to order (we just sat down). She walked away after saying to us "I see that you already have drinks, that makes my job MUCH easier!" Once she returned 10 minutes later, I finally got the chance to ask what their specials were. ...Then I had to ask what their fresh fish options were. ....THEN I had to ask what the seasoned veggies were! It was TERRIBLE service. I got the "Fresh" Mahi, blackened. Someone should tell the cook that blackened does not mean on the grill until the fish turns black. The fish was dead, very dead. It was dry, and honestly tasted as if it were a frozen piece of fish. I got a baked potato which was mostly cooked, luke warm, and still fairly hard. My wife had the crab cakes. They were the best part of our meal. They actually came out hot, however they were VERY salty. We were very underwhelmed with our experience here. Needless to say, we will not be back. If they have good servers and good cooks, we didnt see them. BEWARE, the premise of a Beatles themed restaurant seems fun, but it is pretty lame and not worth the hype that they make it out to be. Dont let that be your deciding factor for eating here. And honestly, the food shouldnt be your deciding factor either.

If I could give no stars I would. We only came here because one of my friends doesnt eat seafood and my other friend and I wanted seafood so online this place seemed to cater to each of us. When we walked in the waitresses were at a table eating ( shouldve been a sign). They sat us in a corner to the left of the restaurant by ourselves literally away from every other customer that walked in. One of my friends ordered a burger and the waitress said that they came with chips. Being from NC when we go a restaurant and an item comes with chips theyre usually hot, freshly made chips at the restaurant. We were so shocked when her burger came with lays wavy chips from the bag. I had mozzarella sticks for an appetizer that were so salty, I couldnt even eat them. My main course of 2 crab clusters and fried shrimp were so small I could fit them all in one hand (clusters included). Our other friend got lobster Mac and chz (we order pretty often and know how it should look) she was brought what looked like stove top Mac and chz with one chunk of lobster in it. She also had the surf and turf and her steak looked burnt. We paid an insane amount of money for food I wouldnt even feed my dog and we still ended up leaving hungry. I will definitely not visit this place again one our next beach trip and will advise others to not waste their money at this dump.

Im going to keep this sort of short: We went as a craving, waited 20 minutes to eat outside that was 80% vacant. I just wanted the french onion soup, my girl ordered a crab cake sammich. The soup was NOTHING more than a bit of watered beef broth, and salad croutons topped with a slice of kraft cheese on top. I actually confronted the waitress by asking her what type of bread they use in the soup, to which she replied: theyre croutons... Why. Even. Bother? I can go to a chain restaurant and get something 10x better for less than $6. The crab cake sammich got two bites and nothing more and ended its wretched life in our trash can (which is where most of their food ultimately ends I spose). The food is little more than a simpletons attempt at food. The wait staff are a little uppity, and the experience will leave you wishing youd have gone to the Wendys next to it (highly recommended). How this place is still in business is beyond me as their Chef must be a microwave and an easy bake oven... Its a joke thats not funny, and thats how youll feel after bending over and paying the bill for this sh*thole. Never going back, hope the chef dies in a fire, or the light bulb in the oven goes out, and the owners should live in purgatory for classifying the crap they sell as genuine food. Its literally that terrible.

I enjoyed my meal at Abbey Road pub but the experience was spoiled by sitting outside on their patio. I enjoyed my Jerk Chicken caesar wrap, but there was just so much noise and crap going on outside. This was my first visit to Virginia Beach and man was I shocked by the people here. Every other minute someone on a loud motorcycle or a car with very loud exhaust would drive by and rev their engine over and over. Lots of homeless folks milling around, someone walking by even stopped and asked us for money while we were eating. Most of this is kind of beyond Abbey Roads control, but I think its worth mentioning. Maybe the experience is better inside, but I didnt go in. We chose Abbey Road because they are pet friendly and that aspect was very nice. We were able to have our dog with us on the patio and several other groups had dogs with them as well. The server brought a bowl of water for our dog. The staff was friendly and fairly attentive. There is free parking in a lot next to the restaurant for patrons; dont park here and walk-off though, you will get towed. You can pay to stay parked after you finish eating, but it was pricey so we opted to move our car.

After reading reviews, I thought Id give this place a try. Sat on the patio this evening with my little dog. There was only one couple with their dog on the opposite end of the patio. This restaurant is not 100% smoke free - glad they left bf my food arrived. Very light night as there were numerous parking places in their lot. Waitress took my order and it took far too long to receive. A runner brought meal and as she ran back thru the door said waitress would check with me shortly. She never did. She didnt even bring my little dog a bowl of water. I had to stand at the front door to flag her down for my check! She apologized saying it was a busy night and they were short handed. Really? With the lack of cars and lack of patrons I saw while standing in the front door, her story was hard to buy. Food (trout, catch of the day) was mediocre. I typically tip 20%+ for dinner as my son waited tables in college. This waitress received zilch. Ill never go there again and highly recommend others take their business elsewhere.
