I walked in and it seemed like a pretty nice place, after a confused minute we were sat a booth against the wall. When the waitress sat the menus down old lettuce fell out. I thought... well okay thats fine. I sat down open my menu and it was definitely dirty on the inside as well was my partners. At the time I was super hungry so I didnt pay much attention, after I order I started to look around the lamp on the wall was splattered with some sort of sauce on the base and the shade,(hard to miss) and it is clearly been there awhile as it was covered with dust over the old food. After I paid a little more attention I noticed my friends glass was not clean and both my fork and knife were covered in some sort of old food. That wasnt quite enough to make me leave only be slightly disgruntled. I asked for new silverware and the waitress promptly brought it. She was nice. I was so hungry I decided to look past all the filth the food was good, but when I picked up my fresh napkin and started to use it it cut my lip. Unfortunately for me Im not accustomed to having to check my brand new napkin for sharp objects before use... As it turns out they just reused some napkin that had it already been used on one side and had someone elses food on it. At that point I almost vomited on the table I will never ever ever ever go here again, and if anyone says anything about it I will be more than happy to tell them about my experience. Had I not been on a date I would have raised hell and walked out! It was the most disgusting thing ever!!! Its such a shame that place had pretty good food until I got a cut lip from someone elses disgusting old food and saw the food all over the wall and the menus and my supposedly clean silverware and glass. I will say also it was completely dead when we were in there its not like they were slammed there was no one in the restaurant when we walked in.

Pastini Pasrtaria has great food, mediocre service and discriminates against customers. In our opinion and based upon observation and experience, Pastini denies service to customers based upon race, age and disability. We recommend boycotting Pastini Pasrtaria. Don’t patronize an establishment which denies service to customers. I thought segregation ended in the 1960’s and 1970’s during the civil rights movement period. Pastini Pasrtaria allows discrimination and segregation to thrive in it’s restaurants. Discrimination in any form hurts the spirit of the individual and community. The Pastini Pasrtaria owner and management are in denial and apathetic while supporting discrimination in this over priced eatery. They just don’t care. As a public restaurant, Pastini Pasrtaria has managed to successfully alienate our family, friends and neighborhood as a member of the local community. Pastini Pasrtaria should replace it’s management team and staff with customer and community oriented resources.

Very bland compared to same dishes served at Pastini Pastaria on Hawthorne in SE PDX. That restaurant hostess is completely clueless, tried to fit 8 of us in a booth that barely sits 6 toward the back of the restaurant. Now I dont care if shes a hater or not I believe shes just simply dumb. People go to dinner to sit and eat and relax. They dont go to be squeezed into a wooden booth when there is a table of 8 sitting empty right at the front of the restaurant. There wasnt a single group of 8 who came in after us. There were still 2 booth avail when we left too. The food--what can i say.. its bland, it goes down well becaus I love pasta but its a disappointment compare to the same dishes served up at the Hawthorne location. Plus honestly, hawthorne Pastini is busy and they are slow a lot of times but Im okay with that because I dont feel like Im being ignored on purpose. So many good places to go to for pasta-why should I return to dismal service and bad food!

Very sad :( Have been wanting to try this place since weve moved out here because it always seems so busy. Finally tried it tonight and was fairly disappointed. The portions and quality are disproportionate to the price. I will give this 3 stars because my vegetarian dish was flavorful, but still pretty mediocre for a 15 dollar plate. My husbands chicken dish was flavorless, and unappealing. I could barely stomach the texture of the chicken and my husband compared it to the texture of a yoga mat rubbery-yet squishy. I hate to give a bad review anywhere and try my best to leave good reviews if at all possible, but this was the least valuable $31 dollars we have spent in a while.

The portions are good, the prices are _really_ good, and the service (at Beaverton) has been consistently good. Ted at the Beaverton location in particular is great about letting you know which dishes are fantastic and which are not so great (if you ask). This is now my favorite restaurant and I go here far more often than any other. Everyone Ive brought with me wants to go again, and although they always choose the same dish they originally ordered because its so good I love to try something different almost every time I go. Its always been great!

The new menu is awful. I ordered a pasta dish in which the pasta was overcooked with canned sauce and not much flavor except salt. Pasta should not be served that way to anyone over the age of 5. I sent the dish back, and the pasta came back just as mushy. If a suposed Italian restaurant cannot make pasta, then they have a problem. We used to go there alot, we gave them several chances, but now done with them.

This is my favorite Italian place. I love the convenience of the online ordering and pick up. Even if something is missing from your order when you order out they are happy to refund or fix it even better. We were missing one meatball from an order and called them, they replaced it with a whole entrée. The manager and all the staff have been fantastic every visit. And the food is always delicious.

I ordered a pasta dish with mushroom. It was so bland I did not even eat half of it. The $3.50 gourmet mac and cheese at BJs in Reno is about 10X better. I tried salt and pepper. Bland and tasteless I left half the dish. As a chef myself, I was severely disappointed. This place should be out in the burbs in like Toledo instead in the hipster section of a foody town like PDX. Very disappointed.

Very dissapointed. worst italian food ive tried. chicken was dry and tasted reheated. pasta was over cooked. my dinner date ordered chicken alfredo but got no sauce on the plate. waste of money. service was slow. We went to pastinis in downtown portland and had an amazing experience every time but tried this one closer to home and never coming back.

Everytime we go we enjoy the food we get and the service were offered. Good place for vegetarian options as well. A little on the pricy side if youre not careful. They dont do things like free refills on drinks, and their bread (although delicious) doesnt come with the meal. None the less our family likes the food here so its not a big deal.
