I havent been here in years and hit it two nights in a row. The food is fantastic. They have a great beer list. The staff is on it. The only negative was the ravenous lady that sat down next to me and are my food. It started with a French fry, and ended up being all but the half of the sandwich I extracted from my basket before she could defile it. She was like a starving wolf on a carcass. There was catchup and pieces everywhere. She was even moaning while consuming it. Honestly, it was more interesting than things I have seen in our National Parks. I would come back just to watch her feeding habits if I knew she frequented the establishment. In fact, I would bring a film crew. But really, this place is great. Thursday night is $1 tacos from 9 till midnight. Pretty great deal. The chicken Parm sub is fantastic, or what I had of it (pre the feeding frenzy).

We were driving down 61S on our way to Philly and noticed the Deer Lake Pub was well reviewed on Google so decided to try it for lunch. We give it an excellent 4.5 out of 5 (although Google only lets you rate in whole star increments, so Ive rounded up). Our server was excellent - she was very polite and friendly. The pierogie appetizer was one of the best Ive had. My wifes burger was great and my chicken parm with pasta was very good. The only reason I pulled off 1/2 a star from the review is a minor nit pick: the pasta sauce, while still good, didnt taste like it was fresh made on site (whereas I strongly suspect they hand make their own pierogie shells and fillings - they are excellent).

I saw the other post "Hit and miss", and I just wanted to follow up. Ive only eaten at Michael Bs a handful of times, but I have had consistently great quality. I may have just gotten lucky, but perhaps theyve improved their food, since all of my visits have been within the last year or so. As far as night life, this place has lots of room and gets great bands in to play! Their drink prices are good, and they tend to always have at least a decent crowd, if not a pretty huge amount of people there.

I have been hete before and was very satisfied, but the Thursday night was disappointing. My meal was extremely small portioned, with a tiny crab cake and small salad. I expected an entree to include at least one vegetable and a salad. Not worth $14.00. I will say that the bartender was very nice and took time to write down future specials for me, but I am now discouraged about returning.

Awesome quality, right prices, amazing dishes; the Chef must be very resourceful and inventive in the kitchen... Great atmosphere, ambient music just right... I would recommend this place for being very professional, and for taking great pride on everything they do down to the servers, and greater... Hands down the best in the area...

We stopped over here on a day trip based on the Google reviews--we werent disappointed! Baked soft pretzel with crab and cheese really hit the spot; GREAT fish and chips platter. Great staff, excellent service. Accidentally pulled into the rear staff parking lot...turn *after* you pass the building, not before. :D

Great food and a fun atmosphere. LOVE the flavor of their hot wing sauce. Huge bottle and draft selection. There are two pool tables, darts and a nice outside area to relax in in the bar area. Plus, theres a separate dining area if you want to have a nice sit down dinner.

Stopped here on the way home. Everything was delicious. Frickles were great pasta dish with prosciutto and fresh basil was also delicious. Mad Elf was set aside for Christmas in July so that was a treat. Waitress was a sweetheart as well! Great place!

Great place and drinks. Both bartenders were very friendly. I only caught the ones name-Jason. Im so glad there wasnt terrible music or karaoke blasting!! Happy they had food available unlike some of the other bars.
