Great beer, friendly staff, very good food, friendly atmosphere. I was traveling and had forgotten how much good the old bars in established New York cities could be. On the miserably cold and icy night I was there there werent many people, and they were mostly middle-aged plus. I suspect they normally have a large younger following as well, since the mix of live music some nights, wonderful beer selection, and great snacking food cant be all that common. Wish I could move the bar to southern Virginia, but Johnson City can keep its weather. The Founders Ale is outstanding and all the side dish snack food I managed to made a dinner of very good, but I especially liked the sweet potato fries. The diinner/sandwich/pizza options looked good, but tasty fries in different flavors, corn balls, and jalepeno poppers are not something any respectable junk food addict should pass up when stopping in.

Whats up the bartender last night? I asked for pineapple juice and cranberry juice, didnt get the cranberry juice. Got there around nine and asked if they were still serving food she said no kitchen is closed ...ok. Go out on the deck and a guy is placing an order with another bartender for wings?? ... 45 minutes later the cook comes out of the kitchen and said he turned everything off and that he it was closed?? she wasnt busy at all so I do not understand why it would trouble her to take a simple order? She was also complaining the entire time how she wanted to leave and how tired she was..... Also asked for a grey goose lemon drop and she didnt know where to start. Terrible service. She should learn more about the job and learn basic drinks if working in that specific industry. Not impressed.

Bonus points for outdoor seating to take in the early spring. Decent selection of elixirs, and popcorn at most tables help you pass the time during somewhat lengthy waits. However that appeared to be a result of understaffing on an usually sunny and fair Mid-March day. Food is simple, and simple is good. Bring your sunglasses and take in the outdoors...beer and burger in hand. Cheers!

I love going to BTP and sitting on the porch. Its a hot place to be on a Friday night so it is understandable that there is a wait for a table outside. I love the outdoor bar. Always a good crowd and I havent been let down yet. And I somehow forgot to mention how amazing the wings are!! Keep up the good work!

Pizza and wings are good. Plenty of beer on tap (approx 15 taps) the service staff is all nice but busy. There are 2 decks and one is covered and heated w its own bar. There are bands every week usually and the local crowds are friendly and social. Overall a nice place w friendly folks.

Blind Tiger is a great place to enjoy lunch or a couple of beers. My sister enjoyed the daily special Haddock Parm. I had the chicken quesadilla which was crisp and cheesy. We ate outside on the patio and you couldnt ask for a more beautiful day. Service was friendly. We will return.

Great place with excellent food at a very decent price. Too bad we do not have a place like this where I live, although I would spend way to much time and money there. Over 20 beers/ciders on tap when we were there with great outdoor seating. I recommend the meat lovers pizza.

Great food and beer at the right price. They serve the best steak sandwich Ive had in a long time. Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. We will be back!!! UNCLE GERRYS TIP: They offer free popcorn if you go before you hit a movie you wont have to blow $30 on a bucket there.
