There has got to be some issues in this location coz there is a new Indian restaurant here almost every year! But all offering a variation of the same thing - sounds like a forever "going out of business" rug dealer :) The decor though has improved but the buffet is the same old quality - have seen better! One thing about Indian buffets is that they want to add a whole bunch of dishes to the spread to make it attractive but they fail to deliver on the ONLY key elements that makes folks coming back - quality! The food quality and taste for most dishes is sub-par at best. Of the few times that I have been here, on the request of others, I have experienced a few good dishes but the majority of the dishes are the same sub-par quality. Even the desserts miss by a mile! So another letdown for me as far as Indian buffets go in the DMV area outside the city :(

Let me clarify.... Food wise may be 3.5 - 4 star. But I am rating just 1 because of unethical practice. let me explain.. We went in a group for dinner the bill almost 32$ pp. We decided to split and pay and gave all our credit cards. As every one gave tip and rounded the amount to 35$, I decided not to offer any tip, thus put a dash line in tip section and signed the merchant copy of bill. After 2 days when I saw the credit card statement.. gosh... the charge was 35$. This is very unethical, after all 4 guys apart from me already paid almost 12$ tip, still the restaurant charged me the tip, even though I didnt write for it. Never ever going again. Please be aware..

I have been yearning for a nice Indian restaurant to dine at in Vienna for the longest time. Their bread basket, chicken makhani (butter chicken), and tandoori platter were all culinary delights. Absolutely delicious! I went during their soft opening, and was so impressed with the ambiance and vibe of the restaurant. I look forward to dining here a lot, and I welcome them to the neighborhood with open arms.

Turmeric went back and I hope for long time to tasty and savory classic Indian dishes after a few years of hiatus. The buffet price is perfectly right and the combination of dishes are good. One last thing, I hope their soda machine will not breakdown again and mix soda drinks randomly.

Cozy spot in Vienna for tasty Indian food. Small lunch buffet for around $10/$11. Small but good variety unlike other local buffets that serve the usual favorites. Clean and nice setting for a quiet meal. Have always left satisfied.

Who knew they serve raw uncooked food.order tawa shrimp. Was served uncooked. Told them. Served again uncooked. The quantity and price do not qualify to receive great stars. Would prefer Paradise biriyani point.

Phenomenal food and excellent decor! The eggplant dish is sublime, as is the garlic naan. Not going anywhere else for Indian food.
