Absolutely worst customer service! I would give this negative stars if yelp would allow me to. They mess up your pick up order and when you ask them to fix it, they dont bother to admit or apologize! All they do is justify their screw up and give miscommunication between their staff as a lame excuse! I would like to state that this review is not in response to their screw up once but THRICE! A meal is not just food but an experience but if you want a perfect way to get your day/evening ruined then this is the place in Herndon to go. They are arrogant, chaotic and completely unapologetic! Instant Indian food in a pack is a million times better than an order with this restaurant.

Not only were we mislead while placing our order (not offered the smallest size portions so that we had to pay more) but we were also not given an estimate on the timeliness of the food, which would have changed our minds for ordering in the first place. The turnaround time on a medium sized chick peas and a chicken Kabob was 31 minutes. Absolutely staggering. When I politely confronted the management, they got really defensive and told us to call ahead the next time. Would not recommend this place to anyone. The presentation of the 8 kabob pieces (which we paid 9 dollars for) was unbelievably poor, and they DID NOT EVEN ADD A SIDE. No flatbread, no veggies, no NOTHING.

My name is Karteek, I am a chef and also a food lover. Just like every Hyderabadi I was also a victim of poor and mediocre biryani made at Indian restaurants in America. So I started my search for places that served descent biryani. Today I tried goat biryani at this location and chicken Manchuria. My rating is 5 stars. Each due to: 1 good service 1 for served hot 1 for good quality of basmati rice 1 for good quality of fresh and tender goat meat , and finally 1 for tasty and flavorful shorba and raita. Will go back for sure. Thank you

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT! I had a horrible service. Can you believe I found a COCKROACH on my food?!!?! Disgusting! And the girl at the register was rude and to top it off my order was incomplete I had to tell them what was missing. Ill fill a formal complain to the Virginia Department of Health department so this place gets an inspection ASAP. Probably all the good reviews are from people close to the owner because there is no way on earth that this place is getting more than one star in food quality and customer service.

For an Indian restaurant, this is an unpretentious and inexpensive place that is geared more for takeout, although they have a few tables in the dining area. I only tried something simple, the chicken curry, and Id say it turned out quite alright. I asked for a "5" on the spiciness scale and it was already rather spicy, so it appears they can turn the heat way up. Service was okay. The only caveat I should point out is their air conditioner is very weak, so in the summertime, Id suggest takeout instead of eating there.

The food was good but I was disappointed in the small amount of food and the lack of cleanliness of the restaurant. Upon arrival I walked up to the counter to order and notice a rather large bug crawling up the wall. Once I sat down to wait for my food comtemplating on whether I should cancel my order, I saw another large but crawling on another wall and then I noticed the various sticky fly paper strips hanging from the ceiling all over the back of the restaurant. It was very off putting.

Ordered a chicken dum biryani which was mediocre at best and half way through it I noticed a cockroach crawling on the side of the wall I was sitting next to. I called the staff at the counter and point the critter out, instead of apologizing he tells me I should inform the owner about this. Grabs the napkin from my table, squishes it in front of me and walks away. The hell I will talk to the owner instead I will post this here and tell the world about my experience.

I told them specifically to not throw too much masala and make spicy, but when i got my pack, it was completely spicy and felt like they just thrown full masala into it. If it was first time, i would have considered mistake. I got it twice, so when i am ordering i clearly mentioned what happened last time and asked to make it less spicy, and it happened again. I didnt feel it as fresh at all.. I am repetitive customer and today is my last visit...

lol dont get fooled by their multiple options menu. 90% of the foodstuff is unavailable all the time. I dont know why they have Pani Puri in that list. I have been here for 7-8 times and when you ask for Pani Puri somebody smiles at you and replies "Sorry Sir, Pani puri is not available today". I will Samosa chat and Shev puri as average.. not super great. Good option if you dont care for taste and just want to fill up your stomach.

Tried Chicken 65 yesterday and it was bad. I do prepare chicken 65 at home and the only reason I tried here, is I am out of town (not in my home town).. There is no chicken 65 that I ever had without curry leaves, or garlic crumbs or even a hint of green chilli. This chicken 65 was just chicken. I wont eat chicken 65 here again. If you from Andhra Pradesh or had Hyderabadi food (back in India), you wont like it here.

I had a great experience at this restaurant and found it extremely authentic. The foods pretty spicy so my wife who doesnt like spice may give it a lower rating. The goat Biryani comes with the bone in so one should be prepared but thats how it should be made. I absolutely loved it. For others, I wish they had a "completely no spice" option so the rest of my family could enjoy it too.

The Biryani is so much better than other restaurants in the area. I personally dont like to eat biryani because of the other places I tried, but I loved the biryani here. I normally just order butter chicken or goat curry, but after a suggestion I tried the biryani. I also would recommend this place for mainly to go. They also deliver apparently.

Have had the biryani and many other items on the menu and have not once been disappointed. Everything Ive had has been fresh, flavorful, and simply delicious. I have even gotten this food to go, driven to southern Virginia, and had it the next day. It was still just as good! Now if they could just open a restaurant closer to where I live!!

Picked up a chicken biryani, goat biryani and chicken 65. The one star is for chicken 65. The biryani is straight rice with chicken. No flavor in the biryani. The goat meat tastes too hard and of a very old goat. The chicken is ok but definitely will not recommened this place to anyone or will buy there again. Cheers

Horrible and Stale Biryani. Just ordered a togo and its horribly stale. Can believe they can serve something like that to customers. Also when i call they dont answer or if they answer they hang up saying i will call you back even without listening to what i have to say. DONT EVER EAT THERE. STALE food.
