Ive been eating at Mobys for about a decade now and have ordered dozens of times. What I really like is the consistency of the food. It is always what I expect and remembered. I always get Moby Combo II because while I rarely order chicken when eating out, their chicken kabob is really impressive--juicy, flavorful, lean, and just plain appetizing. Their ground beef thing is fantastic too--again juicy, flavorful, lean, and so darn tasty. Their meats are complemented by their amazingly fresh and fluffy pita bread and buttery seasoned basmati rice. While the service is nothing to write home about and being that it is transactional in nature, I never feel that my feathers get ruffled here. Whenever I have kabobs elsewhere, the quality of the food is measured up to Mobys.

I have been eating here on a regular basis but the service has declined from the time it started. I ordered a combo carry out from here recently. When the food didnt come out even after 25-30 mins and several people behind me got the food, I inquired with the guy at counter. His first response was that we had called you, but you didnt step forward. When I pointed out that the pager didnt vibrate and that more than five people behind me got the food, his response without even apologizing was that we are waiting for bread and that the people behind me ordered sandwiches which I know was not true since I was standing next to the counter. All this while the bread maker was chatting with somebody over the counter and it took an additional 10 mins to get my order ready.

Im sad to give this place a 4 star review because the food is actually really good. Problem is that the people here were surprisingly rude. I know up in this area people are generally rude, but youd think at a hospitality-related business would be nicer. The cashier was crass and unforgiving of even a single mistake, which I made when I accidentally selected the wrong combo for the meat I wanted, which was not clear on the menu. I recommend this place for the food, but not for the attitude. Personally, Ill never come back here again.

Trying to order a meal for my family and I was unable to substitute Chicken for Beef. Even though I have done this at a number of Moby Dick stores this one would not allow it. The Chicken is actually cheaper then the beef. Very disappointed that it will cost be an extra 4 dollars and not get the apps that come with the family platter. I will not be using this Moby Dicks again and highly suggest going to Falls Church or Mclean where they are much more customer friendly.

Dont bother. I ordered a large Mobys salad and was disappointed. The salad was full of huge bits of the bitter white stems of iceberg lettuce. Customer service was interesting. Unlike other patrons, my presence was never acknowledged when i stood at the counter to order or when I left. I ate my salad in the front and watched numerous others whose entry and exit were pleasantly noted.

Chicken kabab was delicious. The eggplant salad wasnt fresh. Took close to 40 min to get my order, when finally I got it, it was missing things that I ordered (didnt get pita, or my eggplant salad with the rest of my order). Maybe the staff needs more training on the menu? But they were very friendly

Cant say I really like the name of the place, but the food was very good and quick. I had a filet of Atlantic Trout and I can say I was truly surprised at the quality. It was far greater and tastier than I expected going into the place. I will go back during my stay in the area.

Some short sighted man didnt want to take our order. He kept saying we cant substitute! The manager, a very polite and educated man took over, and gave us what we tipically ordered. If i have to deal with this man again i probably wouldnt comeback.

My boyfriend and i was staying at a hotel near by and i wanted to order take out but i wanted to try something new. He told me i would like the chicken kabob and i did. It was absolutely delicious. We will deff be back our next trip!

This place is super consistent. Friendly staff, good food. They cook your food when you order it so make sure you have a few minutes even when theyre not busy. You can place orders online if you dont want to wait for take out.

Hours stated that they are open until 11 on Friday. I called at 10 to make an order and he asked me what time it was very rudely, then told me they were closed. After I informed him of their posted hours he hung up on me.

Like most Moby Dick establishments you know what youre getting, a good kabob. They are very consistent and the roasted tomatoe and sauces are a nice touch. If Im feeling a kabob they dont disappoint

Ordered the Moby Dick combo and the taste was terrible. The meat was bland and no flavor to it. It was my first visit to this chain and it will probably be my last. Dont waste your money....
