We gave up. After eating here a few dozen times, we discovered Cazadores down the street, and never went back. The food is great, and they have a good selection, but the service is absolutely atrocious! Slow, slow, slow. Sitting there for half an hour or more while waiting to get our food was not uncommon. Whats more, the last dozen or so times we went, we got stuck with the same server every single time - incredibly slow, incredibly lazy, mumbles, and good luck finding him when you need a drink refill or your check. The final straw was the last trip, when I discovered on my credit card statement that hed added $8 worth of additional tip, after wed already tipped him $8 on $40 worth of food (far more than hes worth, but were always pretty generous to the people who bring us our food). The rest of the staff was okay, but not good enough to make up for the guy we were always stuck with, and nowhere near as nice as everyone down the street.

I have been here several times. I came here for a birthday dinner to take home.. I spent over 60 dollars on dinner. I got home with the wrong food. I live 10 miles or more one way frome the restaurant. I had to go back to get the right food. When I got there all they said was "Sorry and you want some chips." The chips come with the meal. So that told me all they want is my money. I love the food but I will not go back. It just blew my mind that I was not even offer a discount on my next visit.

I use to love going here with my husband and kids. Until one evening I went with just my husband and when I told our waitress my order was messed up she flat out refused to send it back and fix it. Unfortunately I had to demand it. She finally fixed my order but every time she came back around to our table she wouldnt address me. Wouldnt give me refills on my drink but did with my husband. Ive never felt so out of place and disrespected at a restaurant before until that evening.

SAD, VERY SAD!! Food is good, but some employees like ALONZO a supposed customer service assistant is VERY RUDE on the phone and in person. Food is good, but not worth the aggravation to deal with individuals like him. Sad part is the Manager was just standing back relaxing (like watching a show) while this insolent creature went about his business. AVOID DEALING WITH MANAGEMENT (SADLY!) IF POSSIBLE. BETTER YET....GO TO ONE OF THE OTHER GREAT MEXICAN RESTAURANTS IN SUFFOLK.

There arent alot of dinner choices in Suffolk, but if youre looking for good Mexican, you cant go wrong at Plaza Azteca. The tuna tostidas, I think thats what theyre called, are excellent. Seared tuna, pickled red onion, cheese...delicious and perfect on a warm summer night. The margaritas are out of this world good, and the Mexican music just adds to the ambience. You really cant go wrong if you want a big plate of good Mexican food for the right price.

The food was delious, however the service was mediocre. Waited 25 minutes to finally get check to pay and leave after telling waitress we were ready to check out! Also, you would think yhat sitting at the bar you would be waited on pretty quickly for drinks. Not the case. The bartender never stayed behind the bar. The longer I wait the less the tip.

The menu options arent that great at all. The food is over priced. The wait staff was the worse. The waiter acted like he didnt want to serve us. He was so rude and when I complained about it the woman at the front said "Hes sick...I mean thats not an excuse"...no its not. So they basically dont care. So Im basically never going back there.

It was some of the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten and I have eaten at several places. The service was terrible. We waited at least 20 minutes for our bill, only then to find out that the machine to run our debit card was not working. My husband had a meeting to go to and the manager was very condescending. Will never eat there again!

Food is authentic. The service is good. All the staffs are very attentive and respectful. Nacho chips with 3 different dio sauce are served with any drinks while waiting for the ordered food. Very good. THE REST ROOM IS CLEAN. At least whenever we go there in special occasion with family if ten.

I usually visit during lunch hours. Service is sometimes slows after orders are taken, but food arrives quickly. Food normally has been 4 to 5 stars, but the last couple of times it has been just "ok". Ill be visiting again since Ive seen their best, but I hope this isnt their new standard.

Today I went to the Suffolk Plaza Azteca for the first time in over a year hoping it had improved since the awful food I had there last year. Food was just as bad when I saw a cockroach crawling on the ceiling by the neon lights. I quickly paid for my meal and will never return.

It is hit and miss when we come here. Sometimes the food is great and sometimes it is alright. I dont like the bottom of the rice for instance and I always look for that fresh taste. Im also not a fan of the white sauce with chips; would rather have guacamole.

It was cold inside...it is a bit more expensive than the 2 other Mexican restaurants in Suffolk. The food was good. The waiter was nice but hard to understand at times. Overall, it was fine,but, I prefer Santa Fe on route 10, next to The Holiday Inn.

Very good. Fast, affordable, and delicious. The all pastor tacos are amazing and the chipotle sauce is very good. Skip the rice and beans. I ate here two nights in a row.
