In my younger days this would be referred to as a greasy spoon; a no-frills mom-and-pop place with homemade food in generous portions at a reasonable price. I am neighbors with the new owner who bought and overhauled the place in 2015. An impressively varied menu with great homemade soups, sandwiches, different specials/entrees and all. Open for breakfast and lunch. My favorites are the bacon and cheese omelette and the Reuben sandwich.

Unless you are a regular, your food gets made last. Was in there for a club sandwich and a BLT with chips. Waited 40 minutes, over 15 people that came in well after me had their burgers and fries and left. When I asked about my food, they were just starting it. I walked out and went to Costco. Never ever again will I spend money here.

Came on last minute, before they close at 4pm and their customer service was just outstanding. I hear the food is good cant wait to come back and try it. I only tried a sample of their roasted turkey because the owner was nice enough. Cant wait to try the Burgers

Turkey sandwich was great. Generous size, tasty bread and fixins. Great tasting pickle on the side (which is hard to find these days).
