Classics was not a bad place to eat the first couple of visits but for some reason this time they just seemed to be "new". The line (3 people) was just slow but we placed our order anyway. One young "cool" guy was ringing everything up and nobody told him what the order consisted of so he rang us up two times. It just seemed so confusing and the order was so simple. We asked for a large order of fries and got this little brown greasy bag with about 15 fries. I asked "is this a large"? How much is this? The young guy says "1.99". I laugh and just walk out of the shop saying to myself...."never do that again". Got home and the sauerkraut on my reuben tasted bland....the bread was just soggy and the meat got real stiff and hard to chew. The fries were oversalted on one side....maybe thats why I havent been to Classics in awhile. I should have went to Arbys instead.

I used to love eating here as a kid.. one of my all time favorite places to go. Im sad to say over the last few years it has gone down hill. I keep going back hoping it changes, but unfortunately it doesnt. The only thing I still can say i love is the bread. The meats have down graded it seams... so I went Tonight for a quick dinner as I work 24/7 as a tow truck driver so i gotta eat quick. Anyways... i got a Italian sub and the meats just tasted odd... I also got 3 large fries (not all for me lol) and asked them to be crispy fries... needless to say i get home and they pretty much tasted like they where just heated up on the microwave and the kids didnt want them either. So Im sad to say I have tried and tried to keep giving this place a chance, but tonight took the icing off the cake.. Im sorry but I am tapping out

Came and ordered 2 steak and cheese on pita bread. They misheard the order and gave me 2 "say cheese" a sandwich with only cheese. So i called to Claim the mistake and they said wud fix it to only offer to add the meat to an already cold sandwich. When i inquired about a fresh sandwich they said they wud have to charge me full prices again. But i guess she thought about it and said she wud go ahead and make them fresh no charge. 1st time experience not the best but i cant say i wont b back. Theyve been in business a very long time. I just think the customer matters more when in this situation.

Dont ever complain that they made your sub wrong. The old man that works there or is owner (?) Was the meanest and the rudest person I have EVER encountered in my life! He took my phone order wrong and accused me of saying something I didnt. He accused me of returning subs 10 times. This was the second time in 3 years, because of their mistake! When I asked for my money back he said they would go broke because of me! Haha. Maybe because you cant take a correct phone order but not ne, NEVER GOING BACK. By the way, I have ordered the SAME sandwich at least once a week for 3 years!!!!! BEWARE

HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR OVER 20 YEARS. Today was the worst ever. I like down towners. I got one slice of beef and one slice of ham and no cheese. forgot the mayo and did not steam it. the young man made fun of my wife by mocking her and mostly interested in flurting with the girls. I noticed a female sit down next to us. she had so much meat on her sub she couldnt keep it all in the bun. I was the one with the cain. had back surgery. I would have made a scene but I just could not do it today. I brought the other half home to my dog. I will never be back!

The few times I have been here the staff was friendly, the Rubens are good, and the price was meh. Not expensive, not a bargain. Fair, that word. The prices are fair. Other than that, the inside is very mom & pop esque. The nic knacks are faded, maybe a bit dusty, and everything about it is a busy. That said, its not uncomfortable. Some folks may even like the charm. At any rate, this is definitely a place worth visiting.

Truly a Classic! This sub shop is a traditional deli sub shop just like you expect to find when you go looking for a good lunch sandwich! Loads of interesting memorabilia all around the shop, but the most interesting to me was the collection of backstage and catering passes framed behind the register. Something tells me if they werent good, they wouldnt be asked to cater for so many national acts. Definitely one to try.

I wanted to hate this pace because of the decor but after being there I kind of fell in love. The sandwiches are good, not great and the drinks are loaded with sugar. But combing the adequate with the Americana decor and youre in for a good time. This is the place Id go before heading to the airport.

It is mine and my husbands favorite sub place. Just a heads up tho. If you call to place an order and hear a voice of an old man do not place your order. Chances are it will be 80% wrong. Super great place to dine in. The people who work there are the BEST! We will back to eat in...of course :)

This place sells very good subs . Its kind of small in there but, you can get your food for dine in or to go . Also, its a one story building so you dont have to climb any stairs . Again, great food & a nice atmosphere . Its also on the busline .

Visiting from out of town I decided to try it. The sandwiches are good as well as the limeade. However it is a bit small inside and felt cramped waiting in line. Service was quick though and place was clean.

It has the most expensive prices in the world for a sub. $12 for a cold cut sub is ridiculous. Goto a real restaurant if you are going to pay that much for a meal. You will go broke eating there.
