I ordered food from this restaurant at lunch time. The food wasnt even edible. The chicken was overcooked and the rice was undercooked. The cheese sauce was spilled like they didnt close the top all the way. I contacted grub hub and they reached out to the restaurant. Tonnah answered for grub hub and said she wanted to resolve the issue with me and advised them that she would call me. She did call and put the blame on grub hub which is the deliverer they dont cook the food. Their was discoloration in the beans and she hung up the phone. She didnt want to solve the problem that she created by serving inedible food. Grub hub reached out to restaurant to refund my order and she wouldnt do that either. I paid 28.77 for an order that wasnt even edible. She hung up in my face which was apparent they have no customer service. I type this to say if you want edible food and to be treated like a human being STAY FAR AWAY from here. After dealing with this I will take it upon myself to contact the health department because its no way the food is made to the right temperatures.

Ive only been once and dont plan to return. It was cinco de mayo. I listened as the waitresses got peoples orders wrong around me. I ordered a quesadilla. It was very small, and given to the girl sitting across from me. She was told it was her taco. Once the girl took two bites, therefore eating half of it, the waitress came back and awkwardly said the taco was actually my quesadilla. Then she took the half-eaten mini quesadilla, and put it in front of me. Then she walked away. I wanted to order rice pudding after that, but the waitress never returned. I mentioned it to the owner/cashier, who then gave me a small bowl of it for free. When I went home and tried eating it, I found that the rice was not fully cooked. My two bites of the quesadilla, however, did taste good. (The waitresses, however, seem like they belong in a southern diner rather than in a place with the word Mexican. I saw 2 Mexicans there, behind the counter, and one looked like she was 13. But that didnt contribute to this rating.)

The food is so terrible I wouldnt even bother. In fact, if it was possible to give 0 stars, I would. We placed an order online and it took two hours to arrive (order placed ~7:15pm and arrived at 9:23pm, after the restaurant was already closed). We ordered nachos supreme, two orders of guacamole, and enchiladas supreme. The "nachos supreme" consisted of stale corn tortilla chips, globs of flavorless grey beans, a TON of shredded lettuce, and a small glob of sour cream. The guacamole and accompanying salsa were inedible, not to mention that one of the orders of guacamole was missing. The enchiladas supreme were covered in mounds of shredded lettuce and were such a soggy mess that we couldnt even tell what was in them. As the daughter of a professional chef, this meal was far beyond a lack of culinary expertise or any kind of knowledge of Mexican-American cuisine at all. If you want a real experience, make the trip to your local Mexico Restaurant or Ricos Mexican Restaurant in Midlothian.

I love this place!! I make a point to make a trip there if Im going anywhere at all in eastern Virginia, or even just passing through. I will plan a road trip around making sure I can hit Su Casa at meal time. Ive never been in when the owner Nick isnt there. Hes probably the nicest man you will ever meet. The menu is simple, and when youre dish comes out its never anything fancy, but thats how I like it. The chicken and beef nachos are both to die for. The shrimp quesedilla is top notch, and the burrito loco is enough to feed three people.

Awful service to say the least! I never received the fish I ordered and the owner accused me of lying, wouldnt adjust my bill and tried to make me pay for it...and this was the OWNER!!! They also charged cheese on my bill that I never ordered and wouldnt take off the potatoes we ordered that were inedible. To top it off, the food was not very good either! Ugh. Overall the worst experience at a restaurant in my entire life!

I use to go there all the time. The food use to be good but since new owners took over a couple years ago the quality & service has gone down hill. If you go on their web site and see nachos on the main page dont be fooled. They serve no nachos that look like that. That photo was what I was expecting when I ordered the nacho supreme especially since they dont have what is on the nachos listed. What is the menu for????

Su Casa is a MUST VISIT for Richmond! Right off of Broad St, it looks like a little hole-in-the-wall eatery - but it has its secrets of deliciousness, great service, and ALL SMILES! This is in my top 10 restaurants to visit in Virginia! Come visit Su Casa if you would like to have a great time, a cold beer, and some fantastic, authentic Mexican cuisine! 5 stars - I would rate 6 if I could! NEVER a bad experience!

I stopped here while driving down i-95 south and it was super easy to get to the restaurant from the interstate. The food was excellent, the salsa was the best i have ever had, service was attentive and polite, I wish I lived in Richmond so I could go here more often. The margarita wasnt the best but I still enjoyed it. If you want Mexican food, this is the place to go!!! :)

Delicious, well-valued Tex-Mex, with a few Greek menu items oddly enough. Their salsa is medium spicy and chunky. Their waitstaff was always helpful; at times we had two waitresses helping us. Its a smaller restaurant, so it might seem packed. Also, parking seemed limited. Other than that, we had a great time, and well be back for more!

Everything is great here. Get the spicy salmon tacos to start off. Then wash it down with a cool margarita. Ive only tried the chicken and pork chop - theyre both amazing. We didnt get desserts but had more margaritas. I was lucky not to be in the lineup. Get here at a decent time or call ahead. They dont take reservations.

Wth.... Hard tacos arent included in the $1.00 tacos, $1.00 for a refill of salsa, and the $2.99 Margarita taste like there was no liquor in it at all. I asked for another shot and was told it would be $3.99 more... for a $2.99 drink. Wth! I think Ill go to taco bell next time✌

What a cute little place. I came here on a Monday afternoon around 3:30 and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The blonde waitress was so kind and attentive, and she was so patient with our decisions. I would definitely come back for more! Their margs were so delicious!

I used to go here years ago and I recently went back again because I remember that the food was fantastic. I wasnt disappointed! Amazing food and a pickup window...how do you beat that? Its a tiny hole-in-the-wall but the people are great and the food is worth waiting for.

Salsa tasted like marinara with pepper. Refried beans tasted like they were out of the can. "Carnitas tacos" were just cut up pork sauteed. The Mahi-Mahi tacos tasted over cooked and very minimal in quantity. Awful. - by a Mexican that is from El Paso, TX.
