Hands down the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. I always go to this one because its close to my house and I dont want to drive all the way near Short Pump to get food, but they are always cheating people out of their money. I worked at Chipotle before when I was 16, the one in Willow Lawn and we were taught that meat filling up your salsa cup is 4 oz and should be the amount given to the customer. Thats ridiculous because thats less than a spoonful and definitely not 4 oz of meat. If you go to a restaurant and get a 4 oz steak and cut it up, its definitely not the same to what they give you. Anyways, Im very picky with my food so I only get rice, chicken and mild salsa, so this lady was getting the meat for me and she literally put like half a spoon of chicken in there and I asked her for a little more and she said I have to pay extra for it...like excuse me, that is not 4 oz of meat. And what made it even worst was that before me, there was another customer who asked for more meat and she gave it to that person without saying that its extra and this lady literally asked for everything extra...like are you serious right now? Not only are they giving people small amount food, but they hire racist people as well? My boyfriend was behind me (hes White) and I guessed the lady didnt know that hes with me, but when he asked for more chicken, she gave it to him...if thats not racist, I dont know what is. There was also this other guy working with her and he gives the customer in front of me, a decent amount of food. I told her to look at the chicken on my bowl and the ones on his, if they are supposed to be 4 oz, why the hell does his, look like a mountain and mine looks like crumbs from small piece of bread? She didnt say anything but kept insisting that I pay extra, so I just said never mind and left. The reason why I quit is because I got tired of listening to my manager telling me that I should give customers less food, when Im only giving close to their moneys worth. They make so much money, yet they are so cheap. Almost eight dollars for a bowl of rice, tomatoes, and a few chicken pieces? I dont think so. I went to the one on Short Pump and they gave me what I wanted because they dont cheat people out of their money. Wish I could give it a zero star. Literally, youre better off wasting gas and going to a better location. At least they give you decent amount of food and arent assholes.

I go to this location because it is close to me but never again. The manager at this location seems pretty incompetent when it comes to customer service. The portions here are like alot of people have said ... awful small. To the point where i order double meat at this location. The manger herself decided that serving me a spoon full of guac was ok even after I pointed out and politely asked for a little more... (i am paying extra for it). She then was extremely rude and filled a cup up to give me and said thats another 2 bucks. I said no and me and my boyfriend paid and left. I grabbed a card to call the general manager being sick of giving this place my money and found that the number to this woman was the store number. I hope that chipotle pays better attention to the hiring of "general mangers" in the future if they want return buisness.

The food isnt bad but the service is absolutly horrible its a bunch of CHILDREN running the place they messed up my meal COMPLETLY NOTHING THAT I WANTED so I gave a call in completely nice and just wanted my correct bowl when I got off, Im not able to leave my job for breaks sometimes a supervisor may take a big order for the day and go pick it up. I told her that I worked 10-6 and hadnt ate all day and had nothing else to eat but the bowl. I was told by a "manager" (whos name im gonna be nice and not say) that I had to bring the incorrect bowl back and that "I clearly just wanted free food". I was very offended because I was more then willing to eat the incorrect bowl, I had nothing else until I got off, I just wanted to feel that they were actually sorry for making the mistake. Asked for a refund and will not be returning to this location!

Full review: Location is clean and safe. The restaurant has energy efficient lights and a pretty interesting design but feels cramped. Im not sure that many visitors know or realize they have a patio. Staff was friendly and semi fast with keeping the line down. Food? Steak needs improvement. It was over cooked and burnt to a char in some spots. Very dry and crispy lacking flavor. Maybe a pinch more steak as well. Once youve cooked to well done its pretty much just tasteless protein. They do serve alcohol but because of local regulations you cant take it to the patio. Note:its hard to judge a location by one visit. Ive been here 13 times for fairness before writing this review. These were reoccurring themes of my visits.

Even though I live basically right next to this Chipotle, I am writing this review at the Chipotle on West Broad (aka the good Chipotle). This is not the first time Ive done this. That is how bad this Chipotle is. Example 1: they put knives in the forks slot so myself and another customer had no way to eat. The counter lady screams to the back for forks, and as we wait 5 minutes with no way to eat, the people behind the counter just stare at us. Example 2: they asked what kind of hot sauce I wanted, and instead of waiting the lady just shoveled hot sauce on my bowl and gave me half the ingredients I should have gotten. This place is b.a.d.

Wow Ive never seen Chipotke run out of guacamole before! Ive been waiting for twenty minutes at the Short Pump VA location after ordering a burrito . Im normally a fan but something has changed at this chain location ...poor management ...they are literally having to make more from scratch...bad for casting and prep...meanwhile my burrito is getting cold!

Every time Ive came here they skimp you on literally everything unless you ask for more. I always get carnitas and they just give maybe 1/4th of a tong full. Poor service and small portions will make me never come back to this location. Youre better off going to the one near VCC. -__-

My wife and I did a pick up order this evening around 9 we got home had everything but the steak had so much fat and gristle we both ended up throwing it away after 2 bites will not visit this location again and for almost 29$ I feel it was a waste.

since this chipotles has opened it has been nothing but inconsistent and overall terrible. extremely small portions, combative employees, and poorly seasoned food are all reasons to stay away. its worth the drive to any other Chipotle.

I love Chipolte, but this location has a history for small portion sizes as a way of getting customers to pay extra for double portions. If you have a choice, go to the Willow Lawn location instead.
