If I could just give a review without stars I would. My husband and I just visited this place tonight 4/22/2016 and to say we are disappointed would be putting it mildly. Since this is a food review , I will start with that. I ordered the Grande Quesadilla with chicken and my husband ordered 3 beef tacos (crunchy) a seemingly simple order right? yet it was so much more than we ever imagined. Imagine if you would a taco with the juiciest ground beef ever dripping,........ no not dripping, spilling out onto your plate as you try to take a bite, so much so that when you looked down at your plate you are disgusted at the site of your other tacos that are now soft taco thanks to the wet beef juice. Dont get me wrong, we didnt want dry beef either but the soupy beef was not our idea of good food. The quesadilla was very pleasing to the eye I must say, but after the first bite I quickly realized that I was eating nothing more than a grilled cheese sandwich with chicken. There was so much cheese that the chicken got lost, the cheese was definitely the star and not in a good way. Even our chips and salsa tasted horrible, it was more like a bad tasting tomato gazpacho. Now for our server, she didnt bother to tell us her name but our ticket says that her name is SMIRNA. She was very attentive to my husband, but she ignored and avoided me at every cost for some odd reason. My husband received multiple refills while my glass sat empty. Its a good thing that ice melts otherwise I would have died of thirst. The only time she even acknowledged me was to take my order and to ask me if I wanted to take the rest of that disaster of meal home, my reply was no thank you. She quickly drew her attention back to my husband and smiled as she asked him if he needed anything else he asked for the check. When the check came it was $ 23.00 not a lot of money course, but too much considering the horrible food and service. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Absolutely the worse dining out experience Ive ever had. I am obligated to rate with a star to begin a review otherwise there is no way I would give this place a star. So to begin, I would like to let the management of this place know that your staff are pretty much killing your business. We werent greeted upon arrival because there was no one around. Then we figured out, the "so called host" was actually our waitress and the bartender at the same time. Dont know her name, she never introduced herself. I do truly hope you are at least paying her enough for all the responsibilities that has been given to her which actually results in customers not getting a decent and timely manner service. My boyfriend and I both had terrible experience with the foods we ordered. I ordered the Burrito Costeno. There is no indication of this food being this spicy anywhere on the menu which I think its something you should consider. I could not take more than 2 bites and I was swallowing down my entire glass of water. Horrible taste. Nothing but pepper and the waitress kept telling me theres no pepper in it. My boyfriend ordered the Mojarra Frita and it was the blandest fish on earth. Absolutely no seasoning on this fish. Both of our meals looked very unappetizing, the vegetables on the plate were not even close to fresh. The rice seemed dry and microwaved. Throughout this time, the waitress didnt care to checkon us once. I tried to grab her attention to get a set of silverware and after 10 minutes of waiting with no acknowledgement from her, my boyfriend walked up to her at the bar to get a fork. overall, horrible food horrible dining experience and horrible customer service. This was our first and last time in this restaurant. I do hope you take the time to consider training your staff to treat people better.

I hate leaving bad reviews but tonight was too bad to not say something about. We went out on their Monday dollar taco night and ordered beer, wings as an appetizer, and tacos. Thirty minutes pass and then the tacos come out wrong, no sign of wings. The server comes back fifteen minutes later to check on the tacos and to let us know that there was a mix up in the kitchen with the wings. She switched out my tacos and practically threw the new tacos onto the table and ran away. We arent angry, we tell her everythings okay, no rush at all... but it was like our waitress didnt want to be around us for more than 10 seconds at a time. We arent intimidating either, just two 25-year-olds happy with beer and excited for wings and dollar tacos. The wings come out (theyre actually really tasty though!) but no ranch/bleu cheese or a glass of water for me to make it through how spicy they were. 30 more minutes pass and we just walk up front to get the check. She didnt charge us for the wings but charged us full price for the tacos. We used to come here at least once a month but Im not sure if thats going to happen anymore.

A friend and I ate at the Casa Grande near Short Pump Towne Center. We and other friends have eaten there many times before and liked the food, but tonight the cashier was extremely rude to us as he tried (unsuccessfully) to offer an explanation about why we were charged different beverage prices...for the SAME beverages. He said it was "the machines fault!" An utterly ridiculous statement! When my friend said she would not be back, he said, "Fine!" He was very rude and, at one point, would not answer my friend when she asked a question. If a restaurant doesnt value my business and is rude to me, I do not need to spend my money in the establishment. I will go elsewhere.

The food is mediocre; for example, my chicken fajitas were bland, skimpy on the chicken itself, and the rice was way over cooked. If you show up with five adults, even when planning on paying separate tabs, expect to be forced to pay a gratuity of 20% and then asked for additional tipping upon check out. After talking to the woman at the register about it, she just got mad and said we HAD to pay it. On our way out our waiter chased us out the door to try to figure out what happened. Being that the management didnt care or even make an effort to rectify the issue, the six us will not being going back to this place... despite the ONE good thing; the live mariachi band.

Casa Grande on Broad is by far my favorite Mexican spot in town. I have been going for years and will continue to do so for as far as i can see. Now by no means am I a foodie or even someone who knows their stuff, but I do know that I love the food here. Its a cheap, its fresh, its delicious and its big portions. All I expect from a great Mexican spot. I have never had any issues with language barriers here (I noticed someone mentioned there were some language issues when ordering) and actually find that even though they may not speak as clearly as others, they do understand what you are saying. Thus I have never had any order mishaps. Great spot! Highly recommend!
