We come to Richmond once a year for the weekend, the last two yrs the service the quickness of the food and the food itself was very good, a very nice experience. This year however was completely different altogether. The management seemed out of touch w the staff and not present in any way. All of the staff wandered around aimlessly not seeming to know whether they were coming or going, continuously apologizing for the delays when there were not many people the food came so slow that we thought they had to slaughter the animal and grow the veggies personally. The food however was very good at least what we got, maybe w some harcore bob evans training this place could be good again but not while they r hiring little kids more concerned w their own conversational views than the customer who ultimately pays their paychecks. Would it kill someone to smile or at least PRETEND to care about the customer or the fact that they are lucky to have a job at all. I just hope they dont work for tips cause if they do so sorry for them

We came on Friday night about 7. The server, Jesseca was excellent. The food came out within 15-20 minutes. Jesseca was also training another server while serving our section. I had the full cranberry pecan chicken salad and my husband had the pot pie and a side salad. The food was excellent. The salad had ample portions of the ingredients. Not so at other Bob Evans locations. There was teamwork at this restaurant, the manager ran the food to our table. Both the server and the manager checked on us, and the manager even refilled my husbands tea. This location far exceeded our expectations. All of the Bob Evans experiences we have had in the past have been pretty awful, with few exceptions. We have given up going to the Bob Evans in Chantilly, VA. Based on this great dining experience, we will be back to this restaurant again. Kudos to the manager and staff.

Your experiemce will depend greatly on the lucky of the draw in who is your server. Some are outstandle (Silvia, Beth-Ann), but some are just painful to be around. Two of the worst are Angel and Kita. If you are seated in their sections, you would be better off just walking right back out the front door if you dont want to ask for a different server. They are inattentive, impolite, aloof, rude, and act as if you are an extreme bother if you ask for anything, even if it is as simple as a refill of coffee or for them to fix a mistake that they made ... which is pretty much guaranteed to happen, since they feel listening to you when you are ordering or actually checking the order before delivering it are FAR below them.

First it qas nice a little girl name justyn sat us down quickly. It went down hill from there. We ordered a sandwich and house salad. We saw the cook put the sandwiches in the window. Servers walked by the managers walked by it 10 minutes later we finally ask when is someone bringing it to us. Needless to say the bread was hard from the heat lamp. We also received our salads at this time but we were done with the hard sandwich before she came back with the dressing. Spoke to manager but felt I got the brush off. We will not go back the service is awful. And if u do then dont sit in a server name Q station.

Went here Saturday with a wedding party for breakfast and it took over an hour to get any attention from our waitress. The only reason she even checked on us was because we had to shout for her attention. She treated us like we were a problem for her when she was addressed for not checking on us and refilling our drinks. Our orders were not complicated and yet not one person had their food, not even a piece of toast. Due to her attitude we left and took our business elsewhere. Sorry Bob Evans but that was our First and Last time going there.

So memorial day....came to have breakfast...waited 10 min to be sitted...there was a family of 4 in front of us...they also had been waiting who knows for how long! My waitress was very serious hardly spoke she didnt even greet us at all...I said hello first and she hardly responded...I asked for coffee refill took for ever to get. Our food took 25 min to come out yet they arent very busy!!! This is the 3rd time we come and it just keeps getting worst!! Too bad and sad that the food is good but the resturants front staff sucks!!

Worse breakfast...seated at dirty table...placemats had coffee stains...waitress upset when we. Showed her an she took mats and balled them but never got us new ones. Finally got coffee and took order. No silverware after 5 minutes had to go ask again for silverware. Ask for ketchup one on table was empty an was brought another empty bottle. Had to get up an find an bottle at another table. Was never brought our ticket had to go up to front. Very dissatisfied.

Came in on a Sunday night, 45 minutes before closing. Received the worst service from Iyonni that I have ever received. Slow/no service, cold food, and overall unwillingness to offer the complete menu during this time. Soups and gravies were already "put in the fridge". Then to top it off, she has the audacity to ask me how much she is getting tipped. I will not be coming back nor do I recommend this restaurant to ANYONE.

Arrived for dinner 6:10 pm, no one acknowledged our partys arrival. We were finally seated after we announced we were there to eat. We were seated with menus and ignored for 10 minutes. We decided to leave believing dinner would take at least an hour and half because of poor management and inattentive staff. There were two other families in the restaurant. Otherwise, the entire place was empty.

Im being generous giving a star but the food was good when it finally came. Not the bob Evans I remember the service was terrible as business was slow and we sit by registers and had to ask for a coffee refill and when she poured my coffee she left without filling my wifes water glass and it was empty. We didnt say anything thinking she would come back but she didnt so I ask her for more wTer.

Used to love it here as a kid, and hadnt been back for a while. Went in here not too long ago for a standard breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage, and hash. It was horrible, the eggs had no flavor and neither did the hash. Needless to say, big waste of money. Service wasnt up to par either. Will not be going back.

Horrible!!! The server I had was ghetto! He used curse words as he spoke to my family. He took forever to come back and check on us! At the end he got upset because we were looking for him. After complaining to the store manager he made a joke and began laughing! I will never eat at Bob Evans again!

Always great service! Food is served hot, the only way Ill eat it! The blueberry pancakes (blueberries in the pancakes!) are my favorite! Thank you, Bob Evans, for giving us a yummy breakfast on our out-of-town visits!
