I went here for lunch with my coworkers. The service was friendly and quick, although there was only one server who was also host working the dining room. Their "lunch menu" has a higher price point than most lunch fare, but it is served in dinner sized portions. I ordered chirashi, miso soup, and hot green tea, which is my standard order at sushi restaurants. The chirashi was excellent. The fish was fresh and very high quality. The salmon was especially buttery. Each piece was surprisingly large, although the cuts were somewhat uneven. The dish also included mackerel, which is a welcome sight for sushi regulars, but uncommon in this region. It lacked pickled vegetables and octopus, but I would forgive them for that, given the quality of the other portions. They provided a tasty and unique sample roll as an appetizer, which was very nice. Presentation was typical for good sushi restaurants. The miso soup and tea were also good, although uneventful. The dining room is small, so be prepared to wait during high-volume times. However, it has a bright and homey feeling to it, which is very plesant. I will definitely be coming back.

Wooooooow. My first time in Virginia and I was craving some fish after perusing the beach, so we came here. Damn it was tasty and not as ridiculously pretentious as some places in LA. Had a cornucopia of delectable items, ranging from sashimi to sushi to appetizers. Yeah I bought all that stuff because Im a straight up baller. Just kidding my girlfriend paid for it I dont have a job :D shes great!!! The yellowtail was my favorite of all the sashimi, so soft and moist and lovely on the tongue. The soft shell crab was amazing. The shumai was amazing. The sp dragon roll was amazing. Damn it everything was good. The shrimp head was the only thing that was questionable...Im not ready for that kind of commitment Mr. and Mrs. Han were incredibly friendly, and you can tell that good customer service is their specialty. Oh and the mochi ice cream dessert was soooo clutch. It was essentially Kyrie Irvings game 7 3 pointer in the 2016 finals. GO HERE NOW!!!!!

I was extremely disappointed. I ordered a lunch special, which they got wrong. After waiting 30 minutes it arrived, I had to send the California roll back as I ordered Spicy Tuna. When that came, they took away my other plate that had the wasabi and ginger....which is designed for the sushi not the stir fry. Not that that would have helped as the spicy tuna roll was about as good as a Farm Fresh sushi roll. I wish I had just gone to Fresh Market and gotten their spicy tuna, as they have upped their game considerably recently. But really, you should go to Musasi in Hampton for sushi, the extra drive would be negated in the service as they serve you about 20 minutes quicker, and the sushi is in a whole other class, its so much better.

This is mine & my husbands go-to date night restaurant. They are always so friendly and treat us like family! The volcano roll is delicious and they have the best ginger dressing Ive ever had. Ive always had a good experience with their sushi being fresh, which I cant say has been the case with other sushi places in the area.

Korean owned and nice to see Korean dishes as well as Japanese on the menu. A bit pricey for portion sizes. First impression they forgot to put one order in and we ended up sharing. Service was good and staff were friendly.
