A few co-workers & myself ordered lunch from Peking on Midlothian for pickup. As we were eating our food, one co-worker notices that her beef & broccoli was undercooked; too much of her meal was undercooked to even eat it. I called Peking & the manager said that I need to bring the food back to get a refund. I asked if there were other options because it would be very inconvenient for me to return for something they did wrong, plus I was at work & couldnt just leave. She said I could bring the food back later in the day when it would be more convenient or I could get a credit for a future order of beef & broccoli. I let her know that I wouldnt have a more convenient time nor did I desire to order this again, but wanted a refund. She said that their policy is to give a refund when I bring the food back. I asked to speak to someone over her & she put the owner on the phone. The owner told me that it was my mistake because I didnt specify how I wanted it cooked. I have ordered beef & broccoli many times from several Chinese restaurants & never once have I had to ask for well done. I asked him why didnt they ask me how I wanted it cooked if they knew I hadnt specified & why did they choose to undercook it. He put the manager back on the phone. She asked me what I wanted them to do & I said I want the money put back on my card. Somehow during this back & forth she said she was going to call the police & let them handle it. I let her know that Id write a Yelp review & call 12 on Your Side. I could hear the owner talking in the background & the manager said they would refund my money but wont service me again & she hung up in my face.

Called first and asked if they had a bar that I could eat at, they said yes. I arrived about 45 minutes later and was told, that I could not sit at the bar because they did not have anyone who could serve my dinner at the bar...I wouldnt mind if I had not called first...also, it was Saturday night at about 7:00, so they should have been properly staffed...the restaurant was not very busy for a Saturday night. It was ridiculous that I could not eat at the bar...the hostess was not helpful and the manager was even more useless. Maybe it was for the best...from the size of the crowd on a good weather Saturday evening, the food must not be that good...thanks anyway Peking

They use the same mixed veggies for like every meal. Theres taste like the mixed vegetables I get in the freezer section when I do 30 minute dinners at home. Nothing special about this place, the decor was nice, and overall our server looked high ...but was polite..... the food wasnt worth the amount we paid. I received a few pieces of meat, and my entire plate was water chestnuts, peas, tons of carrots, and few mushrooms. My husband ordered the happy family and it was the same. Hardly any meat- a plate full of mixed vegetables. The same ones I got. Probably store bought. Overall, the decor and soup were the perks...

Peking is a nice, run-of-the-mill Chinese restaurant. Its a step above your typical Chinese take-out locations, with a nice dine-in area thats suitable for most groups. Their egg drop soup is especially delicious (and has none of the silly yellow food coloring). The service is great, and everyone is friendly and helpful. You wont find amazing authentic Chinese food, but if you want to go out to a nice, middle-range (pricewise) dinner for classic Chinese food with good atmosphere, this is a great spot.

I live just down the road from Peking and order it frequently and am always happy with the quality of food. The delivery times are often much faster than the 45-50 minutes they indicate as well. My go to is the general tsos shrimp or chicken and broccoli! Also to Leah... what kind of crazy person wants their beef well done.

For many years I gave up eating Chinese Food due to seafood allergies. Im very happy that the staff here educated me on what foods I can and can not eat there. Even though my selection is limited Im thrilled to be able to eat lo mein and chicken fried rice again!

Wonderful Sunday buffet! Fantastic Peking Duck on a regular evening. Attractive atmosphere and very good service. Very reasonable prices. I like the way they bring a pot of tea to the table while you wait on your order. One of our favorite places!

Great chinese food at a decent price and NO M.S.G! Dine in, delivery and carryout! My personal favorites are the 7 Flavor Chicken, Crispy Duck, Pu Pu Platter and Fried Dumplings. P.S. their house made hot mustard is AMAZING.

Went here the other day. Decor looks straight out of the 90s, but the place is clean. Food was delicious. Got 2 meals for 15 dollars during lunch, and we both had enough to take home.
