This restaurant is right down the street from where I live, so I go there quite frequently. Ive tried other resturaunts in town -- Peking, Chens, Yen Ching, etc. and they are no where near as good as Little Szechuan. When my family comes in visit from out of state, they not only request to go to Little Szechuan, they down right demand it. The food is some the best youll find around town. The service is excellent. I suspect its still and hidden gem as the restaurant is rarely crowded. Every time we go we have the same server, who provides excellent, fast service. The prices are very reasonable, on par with your standard chinese place, if not a few bucks cheaper. Again, the food is some of the best in town. I highly recommend it.

I called in to place a order for delivery and asked the gentleman who answered the phone what grilled chicken options they offered, and he was extremely rude and short with his responses telling me "we dont got no grilled chicken" and "this is Chinese food". I then asked the man what he meant by it is a Chinese Restaurant as if that implies they do not serve grilled chicken somehow and he simply hung up the phone. I can, without a doubt, say I will never give this restaurant my business in the future simply because the customer service is completely unprofessional. Thanks! :)

One of the best Chinese restaurants in the West End. Service is friendly and courteous! The food is great, not the highest quality, but definitely above middle of the road. Mostly Americanized with some interesting choices thrown in. The batter fried foods sometimes are overcooked and dry, but all of the stir-fried options are excellent and not too greasy. The noodle options have always been the best from them with rice noodles Singapore style being the best!

Every time I eat here its great. The chicken and the beef are both higher quality than youll find at other chinese restaurants. The sweet and sour chicken is fried but tastes so much lighter than other places Ive eaten. The staff is very very friendly and always makes me feel comfortable and welcome.

Its pretty good, but good is awfully salty lately. Couldve been what I chose, but seems to me the last 2 times its been overly salty... Which really ruins the flavor. I hope they see this & correct the problem, as Im suspecting it could be MSG which is a huge problem for many people.

The worst Chinese food in the RVA area. Im not quite sure what I ate, but it was awful The quality, taste and experience was so poor. Fearful to dig too deep to see what I actual ate. Stay away, there are many better places to eat

I ordered takeout from Little Szechuan tonight, and I was extremely disappointed. The food was overcooked and very dry. The General TSOs checken was horrible. I couldnt even cut the chicken! I strongly advise against eating here!

Bland General Tsos, bland fried rice. Ordered 1 extra spicy, 1 mild, there was no spice to either order. No egg rolls or veggies come with the orders. Not the worst, but I need to find somewhere better.

Excellent food made fresh to order. I usually get the "Happy Family". Selection if beef, chicken, shrimp, scallops & veggies. Request the use of minimal salt for best results. Better to add your own.

Ive ordered delivery as well as carry out on occasion over the past year. Always had a good experience. They are patient and quick delivery, never waited more than 30 min and foods hot.

The lunch is remarkable, cheap six dollar meals with a side and soup. The dinner is standard chinese cuisine, with large portions ( plenty to share) and fast service.
