Spend your money somewhere else, this place deletes your reviews online that are bad, but however the place is horrendously bad. The Customer Service completely sucks, I went to them asking if they could put food out and it was 2 hours before closing and I bought a dinner buffet and they arent putting sushi out or if you walk around you will see rotting food and or a few sushi that dont look appealing that have been out the whole day which have probably spoiled by being out longer than 2 hours. Do not go to this place, go to Hibachi or Super King Buffet, its got better customer service, food quality, and atmosphere. Also Teppanyaki treats you bad and all they care about is money. Basically pay two hours before closing and they take food away and force you to eat foods that dont look appealing and dont taste good. I asked manager for refund also like 5/22/2015 at night and the lady said no even though I only had 1 plate of food. Also the sushi guy in Teppanyaki is very rude, do not tip him. Go to better places than here the place sucks and has health violations. If you didnt know also the place has been closed down lots then reopened. Also most people here dont understand English, this place is an all you eat but I ordered a dinner buffet and they said I had to pay extra if I wanted to have them put out more stuff so I just walked right out.

Its unfortunate that this once great establishment has become a horrible place to eat. At one point, the restaurant was great. The food was fresh, they had more meats on their lunch menu (most have been moved to their dinner menu). So, now, if you go there for lunch, youll have very few meat items to consume, you have been left with a ton of bland fatty carbohydrates. The hibachi grill during lunch serves up rotting greens and what appears to be chicken and beef shreds; the decent cuts (steak and shrimp) are now exclusively part of their dinner menu. In other words, dont expect much from their lunch menu. Their dinner menu serves up more meat; however, the food is still old. The fried lobster is gross, the meats are boiled in water, and the greens and fruit are browning in plain-view. Lets not forget that you pay before you eat and the staff harasses you for tips. Hard to tip them at the sushi bar, hibachi grill, and your table when you pay and tip at the door. If you come with a credit card, get ready to get a pissy staff. The place runs like strip joint, a dollar tip per plate if you want to keep the beggars (a.k.a: staff) at bay. Horribly managed.

Best Chinese buffet in Richmond. Unbeatable variety, I only eat seafood at places like these and boy is there a lot of it. My fav are the grilled mackerel, theyre available during lunchtime but you can also get them during dinner buffet if you ask the hibachi/teppanyaki grill guy. Lots of other seafood options like salmon, tuna, tilapia, other fish, crawfish, several types of crab, fake crabmeat, oysters, several types of mussels, seaweed, lots of sushi, etc. Huge variety of everything else too. Quality of food isnt as good as Yukai at Virginia Beach, but better than other buffets in Richmond. Obviously it doesnt compare to a sit-down Chinese restaurants where you order your dishes, but what you lose in quality you gain in massive seafood spread and other dishes selection. Prices very cheap and they take coupons they have on their site or 15℅ student ID discounts. Must go if you love lots of seafood or just wanna pig out. However if you arent looking to pack yourself, Id suggest a real restaurant. Still, this is probably my most visited restaurant in the city.

As with all buffets, its best to go when theres a higher volume of customers so the food gets turned over faster. They do have a huge variety of things to choose from, including a sushi bar, some dim-sum including Phoenix Paws (actually chicken feet), a made-to-order hibachi-style area and of course, pizza. Thats all on top of the usual Chinese buffet staples like fried rice, lo mein and various fried chicken chunks in sticky-sweet sauces. The macaroni and cheese is surprisingly excellent, but some of the foods do suffer from not getting refreshed all that often -- again, a common pitfall of huge buffets. My only other complaint might be that its way too easy to eat too much food but thats more specific to it being a buffet (and my own personal failings) than anything else.

I love this place. Ive been here during lunch and dinner time. I dont know about others experience, however the best time to go is not when there is high volume but during lunch for two reasons.1. The food is fresh due to the fact the receive their stock in the moring, and 2. lunch time is alot cheaper than dinner. Do not be fooled. The reason the price is higher during dinner is due to the higher volume and the raiseday food turnover rate. The more people show up at dinner, the more food must be turned resulting in having to increase batch sizes. Not to mention by that time the chefs and waitresses are rushing due to the dinner rush. Go during lunchtime and you will experience a drastic difference in atmosphere and service.

DO NOT EAT HERE. My fiance and i went at 8pm Wednesday night. The food was dried up and old. Half of the seafood looked bad. We sat at the table for 30 mins to see if theyd bring out new food. It never got changed. We asked the manager for a partial refund and he argued and smirked at us. We asked to speak to the owner and they said the owner only comes once every few months. Its clear they dont care about there customers once they get their money. I am calling the better business bureau and health inspecter in the morning. 30.00 wasted. You would do better eating out of a dumpster and itd probably be safer.

We went a while back and it was good (2+ months ago) nothing to write home about but decent buffet. NOT anymore... We just left from a visit where there was no less than 8 items horribly mislabeled, (duck labeled chicken, pork labeled as chicken, squid was labeled as something other than it was). Dumpling raw in center, flavorless (I mean "water" flavored") noodles, everything was oily (like to the point of being disgusting)... It was SO bad we wont be returning. Sad to see a formerly decent place so far-fallen.

Their food is decent but I find it ridiculous that Im paying $15 ($17 if you want the crab legs) for a buffet. The average buffet ranges from prices under $10. Also, I was conned. I specifically did not ask for a drink but the woman at the counter charged me for a soda. High prices and the workers there--(or at least the one woman in particular who was at the front counter) are frauds. If youre craving an Asian buffet, try somewhere else where you can get your moneys worth AND not get conned by fraudulent people
