I had been to this place a couple of times back when it was called the Pamir Kabob House and did not like it at all because it was filthy and the food was horrible. Last Monday we just happened to go to the Worldgate Center for lunch and I noticed that the place looked different and had a different name, my friend and I decided to give it a try again and give them another chance so to speak..... Boy.. were we surprised!, This place has done a 180 turn around from a year or so ago as far as the food and atmosphere, I have been to many Kabob Houses in the Northern Virginia and Maryland, but seen nothing like this. The cleanest, Classiest Mediterranean fast casual restaurant I have seen and the food was just out of this world. The lunch Buffet consists of different kinds of salads, Soups, hummus, yogurt different rices, 5 or 6 different Kabobs ( Beef, Chicken,Lamb) and sides of lamb or chicken curry and other stews...and their fresh baked bread... just too many to mention and then the desert and watermelon and hot tea...we just felt like royalty for around $10... folks you pay more than that for a little salad and soup or hummus at other places. Everything was fresh and the kabobs were being served as soon as they were made. I have to compliment the new owners and management for a fine job they have done to this place and hope that others will learn to give their customers such value and service.

Stopped here today around 3 for lunch. They had a small buffet with lots of delicious noms. They had mixed romaine salad with olives and cheese, stuffed grape leaves, different pickles including jalapeños that probably came from a can, rice pudding, yellow rice pudding, spicy meatballs, roasted chicken and beef, cooked spinach, chicken biryani, and chickpeas. Everything we tried was really good, except some mushroom in sauce which was kind of funny, and the bread they had was pretty toasty/ hard although that might be the way its supposed to be served. The meatballs or the chicken was my fave, both are a little spicy but so succulent! Yum! Its a small place but the bathroom was clean, the buffet was clean, everything was served hot, and the lady at the register was very nice about showing another couple the different foods and explaining what everything was. She was very friendly. We enjoyed our meal here and we will definitely return!

This place is just about the worst kabob place Ive been to. Its a combination of a poorly planned business along with very poorly maintained food. First time we went, it wasnt even open when it was supposed to be. Not sure why. Not signs or anything hinting at why this place wasnt open for the day. Secondly, we walked in and they greet you like zombies. Very strange. The sides have been sitting in a buffet type thing for the entire day. Lastly, the food we received was bland and dry to the point where we started choking on the food because it was so dry. If you bought a Groupon for this place, dont even bother going to get your moneys worth. Itd be more worth your while by throwing out the Groupon. Ive eaten at over 30 different kabob places in our northern Virginia area and none of them were nearly as bad as this one. Stay away!

OMG!! What a hidden GEM!!, dont know where to begin... but now I know where to go when I am hungry for Mediterranean/Middle Eastern Buffet. Too many items to mention, all kinds of Kabobs ( Chicken spicy, regular, ground beef kabobs, ground chicken kabobs...), different kinds of rice, stews, chicken biryani, different side dishes, grilled vegetables, a FULL Salad bar including fruit and dessert...all for around $10 ... and less than the price of a plate of only (kabob and rice) at other Kabob places. Okay, I hope they stay in business for years to come because I will be returning two or three times a week. ( Delicious, healthy and easy on the pocket book ).

My family has been here several times now and we cant give them enough praise. First, they keep it EXTREMELY clean! and that means a lot to us. Next, the food is always fresh at the buffet, with that though means that there isnt as much of the food at any particular time, so if theyre out just wait a couple minutes and fresh food will be there again. Because its a buffet style, there isnt traditional "service", the service that you get is amazing, they are always nice even though my kids can get loud at times. Oh, and of course the food is great! If we want kabobs, curry, mediteranian food in general; were coming here.

I have tried Shish Kabob in different states and in different places of Virginia and this is the best one yet. I accidently bumped into the shopping center yesterday and was very pleased with the service impressed by the variety and with the authentic taste and freshness of the food. Everything is fresh and I learned as I spoke to staff that even the meat is freshly marinated and they grind it as opposed to buying it frozen already prepared. It has a big variety and the meats are full of flavor. I will definitely eat at this place frequently and recommend it to friends and family.

this isnt Persian food, its a mix of Afghan and Pakistani food. the food is always old, and dry. The buffet food look like they are there the whole day, all look burnt from the blubs, the employees barely speak English and dont know what the food is they are serving. the place has this abnormal smell. the mens bathroom wasnt clean, the floor was wet for some reason, no soap or towel paper in the machine. if you are looking for good "Persian" food THIS isnt the place to go

After a long time had something delicious to eat. Went there 2 times in the last 7 days. A lot of varieties for chicken/beef as well as vegetarian. Biryani in specific is awesome. I did feel that the biryani rice were a little under cooked but when replaced by fresh one, it was perfect. The BBQ chickens and Seekh kabab were super delicious. Now i have a perfect place to go and eat whenever I feel like eating kabobs or biryani. Highly recommended.

Literally a hole in the wall with very good lighting and clean restrooms. Ate the dinner buffet- very fresh and tasty. Had the pleasant company of a large family speaking farsi who also enjoyed the food. Of course, you can hear spanish spoken from the kitchen. I am very pleased and extremely satisfied with the food and habanero Tabasco condiments on the table. Apparently there are other locations in Alexandria and Herndon.

I like this place with its laid back atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is not bad at all and they have an extensive all-you-can-eat buffet: all for $10.99! (old price $8.99) For all fine dining connoisseurs out there Id urge you to remember that this is a $10.99 buffet and not some fancy Michelin star establishment. Youll get your moneys worth and then some just as long as your expectations are realistic.
