Poor service, fair food, better choices are out there! After learning about the move, I decided to give Tolly Ho a chance to get things in order before testing out. We decided to go on a Thursday night at 6:45pm. There was one person waiting for food and three servers behind the counter with no one in line. It took 10 minutes of waiting just to take our order and over 40 minutes to receive our food (burgers). Service was lacking to say the least. I was shocked, especially at a new restaurant, to see how dirty the tables and floors were during our visit. Obviously they are not cleaned or wiped down much (or at all). My wife said she felt "gross" and joked that she needed a shower after leaving the restaurant. My burger (super ho) was OK, but the fries were way overcooked and hard as a rock. Management and staff improvements are needed quickly or this Lexington landmark wont be around in the future. There are much better and cleaner choices in Lexington for a good burger. This is not one of them...

I have eaten here a few times only to be dissatisfied nearly everytime. The only time you can even begin to enjoy it is when you are too drunk to notice the poor service, and long wait time. The system used to take orders is very backwards, how is it that you have 4 tablets in the front but you cant afford to put a ticket printer in the kitchen so the orders dont have to wait to be taken back. I sat and watched my order be taken, my ticket printed, and the ticket sat there for 10 minutes for 5 other people to order before the kitchen even got my order. And dont get me started on the way the employees treat each other. Only a place drunk people can enjoy.

This is one of my 3 favorite restaurants in Lexington, the others being bourbon and Toulouse and bds Mongolian grill. The definition of 24/7 greasy college food starts and ends here. The selection of food is large and its all well done. The staff is quite pleasant especially if you let them know its your first time being there. They have arcade games and a little store which carries college life accessories. It does get quite busy at times such as Friday and Saturday nights which is my only real complaint. Overall incredible food and an enjoyable light atmosphere make this Tolly Ho a favorite of mine.

I love this place because its open 24 hours and is one of the few restaurants I can access late at night (because I do not own a car). I like the fried mushrooms, and the cheddar tots (I usually ask them to add cheese on top of them, because I love cheese). But holy hell does it get loud in there. I have some sensory issues that are very easily bothered by the workers calling out orders names. Its not their fault, though, better than people missing their orders being ready. Just something you should know if you also have a disorder that affects sensory perception/overload.

The burgers are great but the business practices are arcane and cheap. You are given exactly two small napkins and *maybe* five ketchup packets for the entirety of your meal. Refills are not free or even discounted--you must purchase an entirely new drink if you want a soft drink refill. There are no prices on their website, and when you call for carryout, they cant (or wont) give you a total. And god forbid you attempt to pay for your food before receiving it, even if it is a take out order. The burgers are great. The fries are bland. The owner is cheap.

Absolutely avoid this Juggalo infested hell hole. They somehow manage to bring a diverse selection of entirely canned goods to just above room temperature and serve the results on filthy melamine platters. Trying to order a hamburger will leave you wondering where the closest source of Naloxone is. And heaven forbid you attempt to order a beer, these rancid crab managers couldn’t even operate an alcohol program if STARS meant Standing Taking And Ripping Salvia. FYI, any UK shirt over XXL in size gets you a 10% discount. 1 star, 2 middle fingers.

How could you not love the Ho? I will say I liked the original location better. Just more history there. That being said, this new one is awesome too. The food is ALWAYS wonderful and the people are always super friendly. It can get busy in the early AMs and there is a mostly college crowd but its always under control. Been coming here for 25 years and my parents 30 years before that. Definitely one of Lexingtons best traditions.

I tried to be nice by taking my tray and plates to the counter instead of making the workers clean up after me. Both workers were condescending. One worker told me to leave my stuff at my table and made no attempt to take the trays. The other worker took the trays and said that "Everything will be okay, I promise." If I were starving and near Tolly-Ho, I would attempt to eat wild animals before darkening this restaurants door.

Lexington Icon since 1971. This town is hard on restaurants. Were an all weather, sports hungry, hard working, big eating kinda place. For a 24/7 family owned and operated diner to thrive in this town for close to 50 years, there must be something right going on there. (I worked at the Ho, and consider it my family. I still work that grill when needed. Sometimes I cook a couple of orders just for fun)

I usually love Tolly Ho. Ive been eating there for years. Today, though, I ordered my lunch at 11:16am and as of 12:30 still did not have it. I called the store to be told it had just come through on their computer system. Well, my lunch break is over at 1pm. They apologized, but were not sincere. I had them refund my money, but there was no offer for later orders. I am very disappointed.

Eating at Tolly-Ho was like eating at a restaurant imagined by the Coen Brothers. Seafoam melamine trays, wood paneled walls, scattered vintage video games. I had breakfast here. My eggs were on the raw side of over easy and kind of cold, but other than that it was a good breakfast. Definitely coming back for a burger or three.

I came in Thursday night, a woman with red hair working the front was very rude to myself and my friends. We were joking at the line about our employees and I guess she thought it was about her and cussed my friend out. This was a very unprofessional display of customer service and I will never come back to this establishment.

The food is always good. There is one woman who is usually rude to the staff and to customers and never smiles but she hasnt been working the counter the last several times Ive been there. The menu is pretty broad so you should be able to find a favorite thing. The peanut butter milkshake is amazing.

I asked for a grilled chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese and mushrooms in it to go and when I got home there was just a toast with American cheese and mushrooms, and just for that we had to wait more than 45 mns, they place was slow and not busy at all, so disappointed and wont come back for sure.
