Dont waste your time here. AFTER I placed my order, I was informed that they dont take cards of any kind, and that they "conveniently" have an ATM by the door. Scummy ATM companies (those not affiliated with banks) partner with business like Cafe By the Bay. In exchange, the ATM company shares the exorbitant withdrawal fee with them. So when Cafe By the Bay doesnt accept cash, theyre just trying to make more money off the back-end. In 2015, there is no excuse not to accept cards. There are numerous companies (like Square) that help small businesses accept cards by taking smaller percentages and by not having arduous contracts. Food trucks and festivals often use these. Even after my annoyance with the ATM rip-off, the food was simply mediocre. The club was, at best, decent, and the chicken wrap was mostly gristle. Deltaville may have limited options, but it deserves better than this.

Very comfortable atmosphere and super friendly staff. Ive only had breakfast here but it was tasty and relatively quick. There seemed to be a little wait when I left but its a nice place to relax, meet and talk with others. Just what I like about this area. Open 7 days a week from 6 a.m. till 3 p.m. Now, for those complaining that Cafe by the Bay doesnt accept plastic. Get over it. Theres a Hardees 20 minutes away in Saluda that may be more to your liking. Good grief, you dont carry a few bills for the just-in-case moments? Really? Youre in Delataville, where Im happy to say its not always up to modern times. If you want 2017 ammenities Va beach is only an hour or so from your Hardees in Saluda.

Breackfast and Lunch all day. Food is great, I had the Ruben, and a coffee. Service is good, prices are good for an independent, free refills on coffee and tea. Atmosphere is good, give s off a former Florist vide. Two tables in the backroom seat 3 each. Also table on the porch in front. Parking is in the rear. In a nutshell I would recommend a visit. Thank you to the staff at Cafe By The Bay.

I stopped by for lunch. The sandwiches are very good and the dining room in the back is very comfortable. I have also had take out sandwiches. Last time I had the Ruben which was very good. I have previously tried a chicken wrap. So far, I have not been disappointed.

Cafe by the Bay is wonderful! I absolutely LOVE their milky way coffee, its such a treat! Also, all of the breakfast bagel sandwiches are soo tasty! And, if you are just looking for quiet time, there is a little library/sitting room in the back that is just perfect.

Open on Monday, so it is here or a stale smoke filled Sunset Grill for Lunch options. Glad we ate here , the food was fresh and delicious. The owners could not have been any nicer. Word to the wise....it is cash only, but covienently they have an ATM in house

They have great prices for great food and drinks (lots of options!). Not too many vegetarian/vegan options but the workers and owners are nice and will try to accommodate their customers. The sides are very good.

I was dismayed when I saw that the bacon and eggs were precooked and put in the microwave. I can reheat food at home, I go out for freshly cooked food. Especially breakfast. Im one and done.

Food is good. But it is 2015 and you dont take debit cards. Havent written a check in years and paying an ATM fee for lunch makes me go somewhere else
