I live in the neighborhood (Hilton) and I am so glad we have this gem. I am also from the land of 10,000 foodies/cafes (Minneapolis, MN) so I am by default kind of a foodie. Well, after our recent visit back to MN I honestly came back here missing just a few things about our neighborhood and Indulge was one of them! I love the attention to detail of everything and the quality of the food is always terrific. Its classy but also has a sweet familiarity that lends itself to great coffee talks with friends or enjoying a cookie with my 2 year old daughter. I just cannot say enough good things about them.

We went for the bistro, not the bakery. From the looks and smells, the baked goods would be 5 stars. We ordered the daily special. Both items were good but not great. The coffee was good, with the hot caramel macchiato being tastier than the iced one. They have outdoor seating, which is very nice in good weather. However, the location is by a somewhat busy street, so there is a lot of road noise outside. Still enjoyable. The staff was friendly. Total time there was just under 45 minutes to comfortably finish a full meal.

This is a Sunday morning staple for me. Bright, easy, relatively cheap. Small and cozy seating. The food is good and the staff is always friendly. They have a "secret menu item" of biscuits & gravy with fixings that is out of this world -- ask for it. If youre in the area and want a light lunch, dont pass these guys by. This neighborhood needs more JUST like this!

This place is wonderful in every way. The food is delicious at a good price, the service is great, and it feels like a European cafe. My family comes down to Newport News just to eat here. I would give 6 stars if I could.
