Made a reservation for a party of 11 which included 5 children. When get got there ( on time) we found out they gave our table to someone else who said they had a reservation when asked. I guess they dont know how to ask for a name. manager blamed someone else , but he seemed to be the only one working the front. We were told only 5 mins. wait ,which stretched into more like thirty,after checking twice plus we had to wait outside. If it were not for the kids and no other options in area we would of left. It was our first time and most definitely the last .

After a long day we wanted to place a large order from our marina because we didnt feel like eating in. The phone was busy for the 45 minutes we tried to get through. This was August 27 starting at 6:45PM. They must take their phone off hook during the busy periods since Ive seen other reviewers mentioning the same issue. We took our business to Ninos down the street who happily accepted our order. Note to the owner: You are losing significant revenue, keep your phone working.

This was a welcome addition to the Callao food scene when it opened, and most of the times Ive been there, its been bustling. Theres the usual Mexican fare, but Ive been working my way through the entrees, and theyve been quite good. The staff has consistently been friendly and welcoming. Typically theyre staffed up and ready for the rush they seem to get regularly. Nice place (with a funky parking lot).

I agree the management is non existing. Only got one cup of coffee most of the time. Dont waste your time, go to the Mexican restaurant in TAPPAHANNOCK. They know what customer service is. The Mexican restaurant in Tappahannock is 5 solid Stars.

The best Mexican food in the Northern Neck. Ive never had anything that was not good. The atmosphere is very nice and its always busy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You wont be disappointed.

Go to the Tappahannock Location. The Callao location has awful service and the food in Tappahannock is better. Also, the manager at the Callao location thinks a lot of himself and he is rude.
