I was charged close to 9 bucks for a spaghetti meatballs + soda deal. It is the only pasta item on the menu. While waiting for my takeout I noticed menu states its price is $6.99. I asked the man behind the counter why the discrepancy and received most unreal answer: "that is for three balls, I gave you four, plus soda". Two questions - what menu is this super deal mentioned on? and how did he know I wanted it? Pasta was OK. The sauce quickly drained all liquid part down to the bottom of the (foam) tray and I was left with nice and thick sauce crust on top. ;) Its lunch hour, inside three other customers besides me. Thats in the middle of Arlington with lots of office buildings around and a college dorm! Anyone ever saw a pizzeria next door to a college that doesnt prosper? This would be the first one to me. So, I question rave reviews authenticity.

You know that stereotype of DC that half the people who live here are not from here? Yeah. Well DC is not known for any particular type of cuisine, especially Italian. If youre from New York or Philly, or somewhere between in Jersey, you know what Im talking about. People in parts of Boston and Providence know what Im talking about. Anyone who gives this place 5 stars has no idea what pizza or Italian food should taste like. And if they call it "carry out" you know the review comes from one of the natives who has no idea what pizza should taste like. This is the best pizzeria within walking distance of the Ballston metro. But that isnt saying much. If youre really craving good pizza, go to Bronx or Goodies. Or dont have pizza.

Was staying at a nearby hotel and they left their menu under the door so we decided to order. Biiiig mistake. They were late, but I can deal with lateness, but the pizza has to be the worst Ive ever had. We ordered deep dish and it came FLAT. It was square, sure but it was flat and not deep at all, it was so tasteless and gross. The pizza falls apart when you try to bite it, and it is so hard to chew the crust which taste like dry bread. Ew. Avoid this place!!!!!

When we walked in the employee presented never greeted us. He walked to the register and stared at us in silence. I told him that we were going to take a glance at the menu and he didnt even acknowledge my husband and I. Needless to say we didnt order and walked another half mile back to our hotel.

Great location right near the Metro. Clean place and the owner is there- pretty rare at alot of places. More importantly really good pizza and they even sell slices. Parking is crummy, but the entire region has this problem.

This is my favorite pizza place in ballston. The crust is a soft yet crispy on the bottom. Get the pepperoni and banana pepper pizza!
