This is a great family restaurant. My wife and I have been going here regularly for years. The staff and owners, whom are often there, are very friendly and attentive without hovering. The food is well above average for the price. I highly recommend anything with gyro meat here as it is the best Ive had in the area. The pizza is very good as well. I honestly havent tasted much else as weve been going here for so longer and ordering the same thing that we dont even order anymore, just walk in, sit down and our drinks and food just come. Other people we have taken here whom sometimes dare to have their own preferences and ignore our recommendations have been happy with what they have gotten as well so it seems like the food is just generally good. That said, it is a family restaurant so you will have families, both big and small, particularly on the weekends. So if youre the type that is easily disturbed by children peaking over the booths at you while you eat or a sports team full of children talking about the game they just won (you can tell when theyve lost - they just sit there and eat quietly), you should avoid weekends and typical meal times. I dont view this as a negative about the place as it is a family restaurant but I want people to know what theyre getting into when they go so their expectations are better set.

La Casa is one of our favorite restaurants in the area, and weve yet to find anything on the menu that were not a fan of. For an appetizer, we love the feta served with warm pita, drizzled in olive oil; for an entree, try any of the pasta dishes, the gyros, or the pizza (or the gyro pizza!). About the only thing weve never had a chance to try are the desserts — weve never had room left. As a bonus, the prices are very reasonable and theres never been a wait to be seated. The atmosphere is casual, and there are booths, tables, and counter/bar service. Typically there will be two beers on tap, seemingly always one domestic and one import or upscale domestic brew, plus wine. (Theres no liquor.) Definitely recommended.

In my opinion, the average four star rating is a little too generous. The food isnt bad, but it is definitely not four-star worthy. Its your average Greek/Italian menu of some pastas, sandwiches, gyros, and pizzas mixed in one. It reminds me of Primo Family Restaurant in Belle View. I ordered a gyro which came with potato chips. The gyro was alright but not the best. I had a bite of a slice of cheese pizza, which tasted like frozen pizza from the grocery store. Definitely not the best pizza in the area by a long, long stretch. I would rather go to Valentinos for good pizza. Service was polite and pretty fast. Lots of tables and a bar (which I was surprised to see was stocked with Macallan!).

Dont let the name fool you. This is a Mediterranean/Greek style restaurant. The wait staff is stellar. Attentive and nice. During lunch hour it is always busy, which is a good sign. Prices are reasonable. Nice size portions for the price. Establishment has always been picked up and clean when Ive been in. Ive seen customers order an array of items off the menu. The chicken parmesan is a favorite among the group I go with. There is something for anyone at la Casa.

What a gem! The best Eggplant Parmigiana! Amazing Greek food, pizza, homemade desserts and friendly family atmosphere. My family has been coming to LaCasa for over 20 years. After moving over an hour away from the area 22 years ago we still find La Casa to be one of our favorite places to dine. It is rare to find such longevity in the market place these days, I am thrilled to see my La Casa better than ever. Thank you La Casa!

Went with the family to try out this cheap eat pizza place that had great reviews. food was tasting fine (but I was expecting fabulous from the reviews), but the minute we saw the cockroach on the ground, lost my appetite, packed up the food and kids and left.

A very nice local joint. Decent pizza and subs. Their club sandwich is quite good. Their Greek food is nice. The restaurant is very casual, but well suited to eating-in. Still, I consider it more of a take-out option.

I have been regularly going to this place for forever. The quality of the food, the stellar staff and the overall ambiance just keeps me coming back. The gyro platter is definitely worth trying, its a personal favorite.

Been coming to La Casa for around 10 years. Best pizza in Alexandria, and my favorite NY style pizza near DC. The appetizers are also great. Im sure the other entrees are good, but I cannot pass up the pizza to find out.

We eat at La Case at least once during the week along with breakfast on Saturday or Sunday--some weeks both! We and the staff know each other by name which is nice; kind of a Greek/Italian version of "Cheers".
