Very inviting and happy to answer questions in great detail. Everyone serves with a smile. The atmosphere is rustic with a hippy vibe. The bathrooms say "Whatever U R" so its welcoming to all sexes, sexualities and identities. Finally, the food; its amazing. Your mouth will say hello to an explosion of flavor that you cant get anywhere else. The staff boasts the "3rd greatest sandwich in America" the Deli Rose, and I dont care what anyone says, its the best sandwich Ive ever had. Go there.

Ordered inside so I would be able to eat outside. After waiting an hour outside (without getting checked on) I go in to see how much longer. They never put the slip in, and it was still next to the register. The man that waited on us was so disengaged and not even phased he didnt put the order in. Im a frequent customer and this is beyond anything Ive ever experienced. Very disappointed. Update: Ive ordered since, and it was a much better experience!

My wife and I are frequent patrons of the Yellow Deli, It is run by a group called the twelve tribes which run a series of restaurants, hostels, and shoe shops. All of their restaurants are build to look like you are dining outdoors from inside the building. It is a fantastically comfortable place to dine and the food is absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend the rueben.

4 star Quality 4 star speed 2 star service I ordered "to go" turkey sandwhich and they refused to put ranch on my sandwich. They only would give it as a side order. So I had to finish the preparations of the sandwhich. WTH??? So easy to do in a kitchen, so hard in a car with a knife and ramican. Guy at counter was unapologetic about it too.

Nice place, great food. The people will try to recruit you to their Church if you arent careful, but dont worry. They wont bother you if you make it clear you arent interested. The menu has lots of local items and good quality meats and artisanal breads! Really good. One of my favorite spots to get lunch with a friend.

Amazing! Totally unique atmosphere with hand carved wood tables. Homemade everything, veggies from their gardens hearty and healthy food for your soul. Its run by the twelve tribes group, they are very friendly and do not push any personal views in you. They just serve good food. Highly recommend this place!

Dont judge a book by its cover, once in the door a gentlemen greater me with great kindness. After a good engagement of conversation, he let me taste test some of the teas. The lentil soup was awesome, served with really delicious bread. Matte is also spectacular!

Im not sure if it was because Id been on the trail for a few days or what, but the food was incredibly good. They seem to run a hiker hostel upstairs, which I was very excited to see. Busy at lunch time, even during the week, but awesome. Ill be back.

Breakfast sandwich was the bomb-diggity. Soft, succulent and fluffy eggs. Waffle was large & in charge. Artistic arrangement. Good atmosphere. Popular with backpackers / hostel stayers. Hostel is right next door.

Yum yum! Virgils, specialty fruit drinks, fresh baked bread, and the tastiest sandwiches. Highly recommended. The culture among the staff is friendly but also a little... strange. Youll see when you get there.
