View is first rate but the food is overpriced and totally blah. Why not a Vermont cheese plate? It would be great to have more local foods and drinks, like wine from nearby wineries and Caldonia spirits. We rent a place on the lake every summer, so we come fairly regularly (love the live music), but usually just to split a pricey appetizer and have a few beers. I dont mind paying for good food, but this food is just not very good. We often joke about how they should get their menu catered from the Wheel Inn -- best burgers and pizza in the area.

The Lake House is under new ownership and they have hit it out of the ball park. The menu is everything from pub food to fancy dining and is excellent. The dock and building have undergone some great renovations and although we ate down on the dock, we cant wait to come back in winter weather and enjoy the beautiful new bar enclosed upstairs and the winter view of the lake! The wait staff were very attentive and friendly and all and all a great experience. They are anxious for the word to get out and I am delighted to write this!! Jane

The Lake House on Lake Bomoseen is under new ownership and has just reopened. The new interior design is spacious and light, and the new decor is tasteful. Our food was well-presented and tasty, and the service was excellent. The view as the sun set was special. We visited on a Tuesday evening so it wasnt jam-packed, but there were quite a few folk enjoying their evening. We recommend the Lake House as a good place to go for a lovely dining experience.

A hidden gem along the road, and a nice hangout on the lake! Food was very good: better than your average pub fare. For example, we got a Cesar salad where the romaine lettuce head was grilled first - tastey! Fish & chips and teriyaki chicken sandwich (w/pineapple, bacon & homemade chips) were great, too.

Vermont Gem - Great food, lakeside - worth a visit! My husband and I have been here twice, both with a large party and small. Each time the food was excellent and the views outstanding. We loved our meals and the menu has such a variety, everyone was pleased. Looking forward to another visit soon!

A delightful small pub overlooking Lake Bomoseen in Vermont. Cozy inside bar with llive music and a dining area. Lovely lakeside dining on a deck. Locals arrive by boat. Wait staff run to help land and tie up their boats. Good food, good service, stunning views.

Been going to Lakehouse Pub for years. Overpriced for quality. 17.00 for a pulled pork and fries. Really. Service is way off on the outside patio due to a lack of proper organization and mgmt supervision.

Absolutely beautiful spot with an expansive patio on the water. Decent rotation of beers from local breweries. Crab Cakes were delicious as was the Caprese Salad.
